About 400 elementary- and middle-school students taking part in the Shenendehowa Inventors program will display their inventions at the former Cotton Market store at Clifton Park Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
With an electric mixer and food processor, it is possible to create velvety purées out of just about anything, including chickpeas, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli. Once incorporated into kids' dishes like macaroni and cheese and yummy treats such as cookies and chocolate cupcakes, these smoothly blended concoctions become undetectable to both the tastebuds and the naked eye....
