Sophomore center Ryan Rossiter made two free throws with 2.4 seconds left to give Siena (7-4) a wild 75-74 victory over Saint Joseph's at the historic Palestra tonight.

Garrett Williamson got off a shot from just inside halfcourt as time expired, but it grazed off the right side of the rim.

Sophomore guard Clarence Jackson, from nearby Marlboro, N.J., scored a career-high 28 points for the Saints, who came back from an 18-point halftime deficit.

The Hawks led by five at halftime, then scored the first nine points of the second half and went ahead, 61-43, with 15:05 left to play.

Jackson made consecutive baskets to tie it at 68-68 with 4:38 left. Edwin Ubiles hit a three-pointer with 4:06 left to give Siena its first lead since late in the first half, then he made a tough bank shot to put the Saints ahead, 73-72, with 2:00 left.

The Hawks' Tasheed Carr missed the front end of a one-and-one with 9.5 seconds left and Saint Joe's leading, 74-73. Kenny Hasbrouck drove down the left wing and hit a cutting Rossiter in the lane, where he was fouled with 2.4 seconds left.
