About 400 elementary- and middle-school students taking part in the Shenendehowa Inventors program will display their inventions at the former Cotton Market store at Clifton Park Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
I met Doug de Lisle in the fall of 1960, when we were both sophomores at Albany High School and appearing in Ayn Rand’s courtroom drama “The Night of January 16th.” He was 14; I had just turned 15. I fancied myself a budding actor, but watching Doug made me appreciate acting on a higher level. Yes, at 14.
