Farmers oppose agency’s move from Ballston Spa

About 150 farmers turned out Tuesday to object to plans to close the county Farm Service Agency office in Ballston Spa and move its functions to Washington County.

Power was slowly beginning to come back to parts of the Capital Region on Sunday, but many people were still without electricity and officials now worry high winds could hamper restoration work..
