— An Albany man is headed to prison for up to 18 years for shaking his infant son to death.

Gregory Milgo, 29, was charged with murder after his 4-month-old son Vincent died from brain injuries suffered during repeated, vigorous shakings in May.

The baby, born three months premature, was found critically injured after Milgo called emergency crews May 13 to report the child had stopped breathing.

Authorities say the baby’s mother — 21-year-old Sasha Poole — failed to get prompt medical attention.

Milgo pleaded guilty to manslaughter in October and was sentenced Friday to 18 years in prison and five years of probation.

Poole pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and will be sentenced to five years of probation.

They both got off easy, stupid mother who couldnt protect her child from a brainless, gutless turd. This guy gets 18 years in prison and the child molester in the other article gets 20-life, do they really think that this man after 18 years in a cage is going to learn right from wrong. Why not life for him? Sounds like the judge was half asleep when they got sentenced.
