A horse at the Saratoga Race Course broke away from the pack this morning — and onto Union Avenue, a NYRA spokesman said.
The horse, training at Gary Contessa’s barn at the Oklahoma training track, broke free at about 8:20 a.m. and made it out the East Avenue entrance. The horse took a left turn at an old gas station and went a little way up Union Avenue before it was pulled in by security and course workers.
In all, the horse was off the property for about four minutes, NYRA spokesman John Lee said. No incidents were reported.
“No hits, no runs, no errors,” Lee said. “The horse seemed fine, there were no auto issues and the horse is back in its stall.”

Didn't this same thing happen to the same trainer a few weeks ago, and the horse found its way back to the barn?
