Weather service radar is indicating flash flooding from thunderstorms over both areas. The weather service said excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads and farmland along the banks of creeks and streams.

There will be occasional showers and a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, with some storms producing heavy rain and small hail. Highs today will only be in the upper 60s.
