Ex-state worker admits to stealing artifacts

A former state worker has pleaded guilty to second-degree grand larceny, admitting he stole hundreds of valuable artifacts from the New York State Library and Archives. Attorney General Andrew Cuomo says the investigation recovered more than 1,600 items. In Albany County Court, 54-year-old Daniel Lorello of Rensselaer admitted stealing artifacts since 1997.
