Presented by the New York State Office of General Services, the Hannaford Kidz Expo offers families a high-quality combination of entertainment and education featuring theater performances, live predatory animals, hands-on science demonstrations, arts and crafts, sports activities and more.
Over 80 family-friendly vendors and exhibitors will entertain the more than 10,000 people expected to visit this year’s expo. Featured entertainers include Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, Starfish, and an exciting live performance of ArtsPower’s new production, “Harry the Dirty Dog.”
Other interactive activities include the Reptile Adventure Room, Radio Disney Wii Gaming Showcase, bounce rides, face painting, balloon animals, and more.
Hannaford will be giving away environmentally-friendly reusable tote bags, bottled water and healthy snacks to expo visitors throughout the day, while supplies last.
A new addition to this year’s expo, children are invited to visit the Hannaford Supermarkets Coloring Room to receive a free, customizable canvas backpack. Art supplies will be provided for kids to decorate the bags.
