Donald and Thelma (Oddy) Paige recently
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary renewing
their wedding vows in front of family and
friends at a picnic hosted by their children. They
were married June 10, 1953 at Trinity Reformed
Church, Rotterdam, NY.
Thelma is a homemaker and retired from St.
Clare’s Hospital housekeeping department.
Her husband retired as a supervisor from the
NYS Department of Transportation with 36 years
Their children are Patricia (David) Quivey,
Diana (Richard) Gorman, Tracy (Noe) Boilard,
Edward (Anna) Paige, Audrey Wagner, Donald
(Kimberly) Paige, all of Schenectady and
Deborah (Randy) Fry of Elmira, NY. They also
have 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The couple enjoys gardening, fi shing, woodworking
and spending time with their puppies,
Midnight and Princess.
June and Bud Nautel of Indio, CA, formerly
living in Niskayuna, are celebrating their 50th
wedding anniversary this year. They met while
attending Albany High and were married on June
29th, 1963 at St. James Roman Catholic Church
They began their family in the Albany area
before moving to CT and then Cumberland,
Rhode Island where they lived for 12 years,
before moving back to Niskayuna. Bud began
working in sales for Norton Company shortly
after High School and continued with them for 44
years until his retirement in 2005. June attended
Albany Business College and has worked
actively in Real Estate sales for over 40 years
and is still working today. The Nautels moved
from Niskayuna to California in 2001. They are
currently very active, taking advantage of all the
activities the Palm Springs, CA area has to offer
including plenty of golf and other social activities
with their many friends.
This milestone anniversary is recognized with
love by their 4 children – Stacia, Keith, Scott
& Shawn and families, including their 7 grandchildren
– Jacoby, Derek, Jasmine, Kennedy,
Ben, Abigail & Grady .
