Engagement: Farina, and Lawless

Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Debby Farina of
Scotia announce the engagement of their daughter,
Kristen Lorraine Farina, to Jeremy John Lawless,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill and Claudia Lawless
of Franklinville, NY.
The future bride is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville
High School and Siena College, where she
received her bachelor’s degree in English. She
received her master’s degree in health communication
from Boston University and is currently
pursuing a doctorate of public health at the University
at Albany. She is program manager of the
NYS Perinatal Quality Collaborative at the NY
State Dept. of Health.
Her fiance is a graduate of Ten Broeck Academy
and received his bachelor and master
degrees in elementary education from SUNY
Plattsburgh. After ten years as a fourth-grade
teacher in the Saratoga Springs City School District,
he recently accepted a job as a construction
manager with Stewart’s Shops.
An August 2013 wedding is planned.


JARED LATOUR KIMBERLY GEBHARDT
Wedding: Gebhardt and LaTour

Kimberly Marie Gebhardt, daughter of William
and Ona Gebhardt of Albany, married Jared La-
Tour, son of Robert LaTour and Marilee Marn, on
May 5, 2013, at the Desmond Hotel in Albany.
The Rev. John DiMarco officiated. A reception
followed at the Desmond Hotel.
The bride wore a strapless, white satin beaded
dress, with an embroidered metallic bodice.
Maid of honor was Traci Brown, friend of the
bride. Bridesmaids were Marissa LaTour, sisterin-
law to the groom, and Ashley Herbst, the
bride’s daughter. Best man was Brandon Rivenburg,
the groom’s best friend. Groomsmen were
Jason LaTour, brother of the groom, and Torrin
Brown, friend of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Bryant and Stratton
College in Albany. The groom is a graduate of
SUNY Cobleskill. The couple honeymooned on
a Western Carribean cruise.
They live in Wappingers Falls.


UMBERTO AND AMERINA PANICCIA 60TH ANNIVERSARY
Anniversary: Paniccia

Umberto and Amerina (Mauti) Paniccia of
Schenectady recently celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary with a renewal of their vows at
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Schenectady,
followed by a family dinner party at Paulo Lombardi’s
Restaurant in Wynantskill, NY. They were
married May 3, 1953 in Santa Francesca-Veroli,
Italy.
The party was given by their children and their
spouses, John (Lauren) Paniccia of Basking
Ridge, NJ; Lucy (George) Cox of Mechanicville,
NY and Robert (Carol) Paniccia of Raleigh, NC.
Amerina is a homemaker. Umberto retired
from General Electric, Schenectady after 38
years. He is a master gardener.
Their grandchildren are Bryan Cox of Walpole,
MA, Danielle Filippone of Mechanicville, NY,
Christina Wiesmore of Hillsborough, NC, Daniel
Paniccia of Raleigh, NC; Sam Paniccia and Nicole
Paniccia of Basking Ridge, NJ. They have a
great-grandson, Matthew Filippone of Mechanicville,
NY; grandsons-in-law Daniel Filippone of
Mechanicville and Matthew Wiesmore of Hillsborough,
NC; and granddaughter-in-law Elizabeth
Stephens of Walpole, MA.
