Engagement: Bobst and Romell

Alfred and Linda Bobst of Newfields, NH
announce the engagement of their daughter,
Emma Bobst of East Hartford, CT to Brian
Romell, also of East Hartford, CT. Brian is the
son of Robert and Laura Romell of Ballston Lake.
The bride is a graduate of Berwick Academy
and the University of Connecticut. The groom
is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High
School and Western New England University
where he received both his bachelor’s degree
and master’s degree in accounting. Emma and
Brian are both employed by Stanley Black &
Decker’s Finance Dept. in New Britain, CT.
Emma is the granddaughter of Lois Miller
of NJ. Brian is the grandson of Alida and Richard
Deisenroth of Rochester. Brian popped the
question at the top of Case Mountain in Manchester,
An October 12, 2013 wedding in Portsmouth,
NH is being planned.

Wedding: Griesemer and Mainville

Patrice Lynn Griesemer and Richard E. Mainville,
Jr. were married December 8, 2012 at Mallozzi’s
Banquet House in Rotterdam, NY.
The bride is the daughter of Lynette and Patrick
Griesemer of Rotterdam. The groom is the
son of Richard E. Mainville, Sr. of Cohoes and
Robin and Thomas McGrath, Jr. of Wynantskill.
The bride graduated from Siena College with
a B.S. degree in mathematics. She is employed
by NYS Dept. of Tax and Finance as a tax representative.
The groom also graduated from
Siena College with a B.S. degree in marketing
and management. He is employed by MAXIMUS
as a quality assurance specialist.
The couple spent their honeymoon on a Caribbean
cruise. They reside in Albany, NY with
their Corgi, Riley.

Anniversary: DuChessi

Peter DuChessi and Madeline (Lanzi)
DuChessi, of Amsterdam, NY, celebrate their
70th wedding anniversary. The couple was married
on April 16, 1943 at Mount Carmel Church,
They are proud parents of Peter (Nancy)
Duchessi of Ballston Spa, NY and Linda (Peter)
Meenan of Scotia, NY, and also proud grandparents
of Christopher Meenan, Clifton Park, NY
and Carolyn Meenan, Quincy, MA.
Peter and Madeline are life-long residents of
Amsterdam and were owners of the Amsterdam
Importing Company, later DuChessi’s Market.
Both markets specialized in imported food products,
custom meats, and fresh produce. They
truly loved their customers and their customers
loved them.
Family and friends admire and congratulate
Madeline and Peter, who have brightened and
enhanced our lives.
