Kristen M. Nuzback and Brian M. Shoemaker were married November 12, 2011 at Saint Madeleine Sophie Church, Schenectady, NY. Father Thomas Morrette officiated. A reception followed at Mohawk River Country Club and Chateau, Rexford.
The bride is the daughter of John and Linda Nuzback of Schenectady. The groom is the son of John and Janice Shoemaker of Scotia.
Maid of honor was Amy Nuzback. Bridesmaids were Lynn Nuzback, Vanita Shoemaker, Amy Hebbard, Allison Beauchemin, Michele Evans, Jamie Pink, Chrystal Stone and Colleen Zimmer. Flowergirls were Maya Shoemaker and Sara Shoemaker.
Best man was Mark Shoemaker. Ushers were John Nuzback, Tim Trier, Chris Hebbard, Pat Beauchemin, Mike Crane, Sean Solomon, Chad Corbett and John Barker. Ringbearers were Nate Shoemaker, Carter Hebbard, Tyler Hebbard, JJ Nuzback and Rylan Beauchemin.
Kristen is a graduate of SUNY Oswego and the College of Saint Rose. She is a teacher at Saint Madeleine Sophie School.
Her husband is a graduate of Siena College. He is an audit supervisor at the New York State Office of Mental Health, Albany.
The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii. They reside in Scotia.

She is a retired teacher. She enjoys mah jongg,
bridge, travel, volunteering and sewing.
Her husband served in the U S Army and
graduated from Lafayette College. He is retired
from G.E. as a human resource specialist. He
enjoys bridge, travel and model train collecting.
Their children are Elizabeth (Steven) Pike of
Littleton, CO, Susan (Michael) Cifaratta of Saratoga,
NY and Paul Heddesheimer of Gorham,
ME. They also have seven grandchildren.
