Schwant, to Dana Dawson, daughter of Nancy
and Ken Dawson of Tulia, TX.
The future bride is a graduate of Tulia High
School and Texas Tech University. She is employed
at Texas Dept. of Aging and Disabilty
Services as a processor for rehabilitation of
head trauma victims.
Her fiance is a graduate of Schalmont High
School and the University of Texas-Austin. He
is a senior manager at The Structure Group (an
energy consulting firm).
A July 2012 wedding is planned.

Brian Wilson of Gansevoort and Joanne Wilson
of Queenbury announce the engagement of
their daughter, Jan Anelle Wilson to Kenneth Joseph
Briere, son of Constance Briere and the
late Robert Briere of Schenectady.
The future bride is a 1994 graduate of
Queenbury High School, 1997 graduate of Adirondack
Community College and 2006 graduate
of IBEW National Joint Apprenticeship. She is
employed by Local 236 IBEW as an electrician
journeyman.
Her fiance is a 1987 graduate of Linton High
School and 1989 graduate of SUNY Delhi and
the Plumbers/Pipefitters NJA. He is employed
by DiGesare Mechanical Local 7 as a master
plumber.
A June 1, 2013 wedding is planned at St.
Luke’s Church, Schenectady.

David M. and Bonnie P. Doin of Niskayuna
announce the engagement of their daughter,
Ashley Brooke Doin to Patrick Willson, son of
Jeffrey and Gail Willson of Wellsville, NY. Ashley
is the granddaughter of Janet and the late Russell
Davignon.
The future bride is a graduate of Niskayuna
High School and received her master’s degree
from the College of Saint Rose. She is a speech
pathologist in the Menands School District.
Her fiance is a graduate of Wellsville High
School, Alfred University, where he received his
bachelor’s degree and RPI where he received
his master’s degree in materials engineering. He
is a design engineer at General Electric.
