Frederick and Patricia Winkler of Scotia announce
the engagement of their daughter, Jessica
Lynn Winkler to Alexander Richard Riccio,
son of Richard and Christine Riccio of Delmar.
The future bride and groom are both graduates
of Siena College and Albany Medical
College. They are both surgical resident physicians
at Albany Medical Center.
The couple met their freshman year at Siena
College and graduated from medical school in
May 2012.
A November 2012 wedding is planned at
Siena College.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Simon of Niskayuna
recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married June 24, 1957 in
Mitchell, SD.
They renewed their vows at Our Lady of Fatima
Church, Schenectady, followed with a party
at their home.
The event was hosted by their daughter,
Cathleen Simon. They also have a daughter,
Mary Simon of Orlando, FL.
