Richard and Cynthia Cotugno of Schenectady
announce the engagement of their son,
Matthew Cotugno to Laura Geminiani, daughter
of Lina Mazzucco and the late Primo Geminiani
of Aprilia LT, Italy and Raymond and Anna
Gardner of Rensselaer.
The future bride is a graduate of the University
at Albany, where she received her MBA. She
is employed at Ernst and Young in NYC.
Her fiance is also a graduate of the University
at Albany, where he earned his MBA as well.

Michael and Angela Arnold of Ledyard, CT
are pleased to announce the engagement of
their daughter, Sarah Dorothea Arnold to Daniel
Padric Kelly, son of Russell and Judith Kelly of
Fultonville, New York.
Sarah graduated from St. Bernard High
School and received her doctor of pharmacy
degree from Northeastern University. She is
currently pharmacy manager at Yale New
Dan graduated from Fonda-Fultonville
Central School and received his bachelor’s
degree in criminal justice from New Mexico State
University. Dan is a captain in the United States
The couple will wed in November 2012
Myron and Alicia Hermance of Schenectady
recently noted their 60th wedding anniversary. A
family celebration will be held in July.
The couple were married June 21, 1952 at
Calvary Reformed Church in Hagaman, NY.
Myron is a graduate of Hope College and
received his master’s degree from Indiana
University. He is a retired music teacher, vocal
teacher, conductor and soloist. He is a commissioned
preaching elder for the Reformed Church
Alicia graduated from Hope College, MI., and
is a retired music teacher and church consultant.
They both taught music in the Schenectady
City School District. They are active members of
the First Reformed Church of Scotia.
Their children are Susan (Alfred) Fedak of
Albany, NY, Dirk (Anastasia) Hermance of Hubbard,
OH; Melanie (Russell) Lee of Ballston
Spa, NY; Peter Hermance of New Britain, CT;
Gay (William) O’Brien of Ballston Spa, Rhonda
Hermance of Latham, NY; Philip Hermance
of Schenectady; and a foster daughter, Lynda
Evans of Totowa, NJ. They have 12 grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
Giuliano and Josephine Isopo Sr., recently
celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.
They were married on June 24, 1951 at St.
Anthony’s Church in Schenectady.
They have seven beautiful children, school
psychologist Patricia Isopo-Croteau, Father
Dominic P. Isopo, Giuliano (Denise) Isopo
Jr., Joann (Peter) Davis, Vincent Isopo,
Maria Isopo and her fiance Bruce Barringer,
Anthony and Tara Isopo, and also six beautiful
grandchildren, Karen (Rocco) Pisciteli,
Kenny Davis III, Demi and Devin Robbins,
Giuliano Isopo III and Sarah Isopo
Joseph and Arleen (Lee) LaPlante of Clifton
Park, recently celebrated their 65th wedding
anniversary at a reception and luncheon
with friends and family at the Clifton Park Firehouse.

The couple were married June 29, 1947 in
Arleen is retired from General Electric. She
enjoys bowling, gardening, gaming and spending
time with her family.
Joe served in the U.S. Navy Seabees in
WWII. He is also retired from G.E. He enjoys
woodworking, boating and family.
