Engagement: DiBattista and Cuff

Claudia Cuff of Schenectady announces the
engagement of her son, Ryan Cuff to Nina Di-
Battista, daughter of Marty and Jill DiBattista of
Syracuse, NY. Ryan is also the son of the late
Dennis Cuff. Ryan is the grandson of the late Michael
and Philomena Attanasio of Schenectady
and the late John and Edith Cuff of Kingston.
Nina is the granddaughter of Shirley and the late
Robert Durling of Syracuse and Carl and Elizabeth
DiBattista of South Glens Falls.
The future bride is a graduate of West Genesee
High School (2004) and Siena College
(2008). Her fiance is a graduate of Christian
Brothers Academy (2004) and Siena College
(2008). The couple are both medical students
at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.
They are pursuing their doctor of medicine degrees,
with anticipated graduation in May of
Nina and Ryan became engaged on March
27, 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark. They will
marry May 5, 2012.

Wedding: Freedman and Miller

Hillary Eve Freedman and Daniel Harris
Miller were married September 4, 2011 at Congregation
Gates of Heaven, Schenectady, NY.
Rabbi Matthew Cutler officiated. A reception followed
at Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs.
The bride is the daughter of Glenn and Heidi
Freedman of Clifton Park, NY. The groom is
the son of Jeffrey Miller and Dianna and Louis
Pinkerton, all of Meriden, CT.
Maid of honor was Jessica Schuddekopf.
Bridesmaids were Erin Berkowitz, Darlene Ehrich,
Rebecca Hertzberg, Jenna Pinkerton and
Amanda Willey.
Best man was Nathan Miller. Ushers were
David Bergeron. Andrew Freedman, Geoffrey
Kupfer, Kristopher Peterson and Daniel Russell.
Hillary is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta, where
she received her bachelor’s degree in biology
and Russell Sage College, where she earned
her bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics.
She is a registered dietitian in Connecticut.
Her husband is a graduate of the University
of Connecticut, where he received his bachelor’s
degree in resource economics and Western
New England College School of Law, where he
received his juris doctor degree. He is an attorney
in Connecticut.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii.
They reside in Torrington, CT.

Wedding: Jordan and Kemble

Sheila Jordan and Patrick Kemble Jr., were
married October 21, 2011. The ceremony and
reception were held at Riverstone Manor, Glenville.
Rev. Victoria Onderdonk-Milne offi ciated.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Linda
Jordan of Clifton Park. The groom is the son
of Patrick and Sally Kemble Sr., of Saratoga
Matron of honor was Renee Davis, sister of
the bride. Bridesmaids were Dana Pembrook,
Kristen Scott, and Michele Sims. Junior bridesmaids
were Sarah Kemble, Melena Scott, Alexander
Sims and Caitlyn Sims. Flowergirl was
Taylor Davis., niece of the bride.
Best man was Jack Kemble, brother of the
groom. Ushers were Chad Lapatra, Todd Scott
and Scott Davis. Ringbearer was Ryan Davis,
the bride’s nephew.
Sheila is a graduate of SUNY Potsdam, with
degrees in psychology and elementary education.
She is employed by Colonie Youth Center.
Her husband is a graduate of SUNY Utica,
with a degree in civil engineering. He is employed
by the NYS Dept. of Transportation.

Wedding: Barnes and Barndt

Danielle Barnes and Joshua Barndt were
married October 7, 2011 at St. Madeleine Sophie
Church in Guilderland. Deacon Earle Flatt,
and Fr. Robert Powhida offi ciated. A reception
followed at the Appel Inn, Altamont.
Maids of honor were Sara Anderson and
Heather Horwedel. Bridesmaids were Megan
Barndt and Jackie Gunn. Junior bridesmaid was
Kaitlyn Sengenberger. Best man was Jonathan
Cotugno. Groomsmen were Andrew Barndt,
Daniel Waskiewicz, and Jon Meschino. Ring
bearer was Brandon Gunn.
The bride is an assistant director of Maple
Leaf Childcare Center of Glenville. The groom
is a manufacturing engineer at Global Foundries
of Malta. The couple honeymooned in Jamaica
at the Sandals Resort of Negril. They reside in
Clifton Park.
