Stephen P. and Janet E. (Collins) Villano of
Scotia, NY, recently celebrated their 61st wedding
anniversary with a surprise dinner party at
Canali’s Restaurant, Schenectady.
The couple were married on June 17, 1951
at the Immaculate Conception Church, Thompson
St., Schenectady.They have three children,
Robert Villano (Felicia Gull) of Waterford, MI,
Maureen (Tad) Boniewski of Scotia and Helen
(Frank) Hendershot of Rochester, NY. They also
have four grandchildren and fi ve great-granchildren.
Janet retired from the Scotia K-Mart after
working there for 30 years. Steve worked as the
head mechanic at Elliott Buick of Schenectady,
retiring in 1988, after working there 40 years.
He is the past exalted ruler of the Guilderland
Elks and is an active member of the Rotterdam
They are enjoying their retirement. Steve
loves to cook for his bride Janet and they both
love just being together. They also enjoy spending
time with their many friends and families.

Mr. and Mrs. John (Jack) McKee of Rotterdam
recently celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary with a buffet dinner at Sportmans
Bowl. They were married June 28, 1952 in
The party was attended by their four children,
John (Cindy) McKee Jr. of Delanson, NY, Janet
(Bruce) Lichtenwalter of Groton, CT., Kevin
(Debbie) McKee of Altamont, NY and Elizabeth
(Rick) Shafer of Wilmington, NC.
Also attending were their nine grandchildren
and their spouses and six great-granchildren.
The bride’s family also attended the anniversary
celebration. Present were the bride’s brothers,
Stanley (Joyce) Pogorzelski and Edmund (Eleanor)
Pogorzelski, and sisters Ann (Reno) Bailoni
and Veronica Thompson.
The family of Jack and Irene McKee congratulate
them and wish them many more years of
happiness and love.
