Engagement: Donohue and Laurenzo

Mr. and Mrs. James Donohue of Ballston
Lake announce the engagement of their daughter
Jillian Donohue to Christopher Laurenzo, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Laurenzo of Rotterdam.
The future bride is a graduate of Burnt Hills-
Ballston Lake High School and Boston College.
She is a graduate student pursuing a master’s
degree in school counseling from the College of
Saint Rose.
Her fi ance is a graduate of Mohonasen High
School and Quinnipiac University. He is employed
by YNN Albany.
A July 2012 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Hoyt and Martuscello

Kristen Hoyt and Michael Martuscello have
announced their engagement. Kristen is the
daughter of Lillis (Kevin) Romines and Donald
(Laurie) Hoyt. Michael is the son of Bruce Martuscello
and Brenda Empie.
The future bride is a graduate of Schenectady
High School and Mildred Elley College. She
is an LPN at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Her fi ance is a graduate of Gloversville High
School. He is employed at Crossroads Incubator

Sharran A. Coppola of Schenectady announces

Wedding: Tarmey and Buschiazzo

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tarmey of Delanson announce
the marriage of their daughter Amy to
Gaston Buschiazzo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horacio
Buschiazzo, of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Amy and Gaston were married at the Kalama
Beach Club, on Kailua Beach, Ohahu, on
July 23, 2011. They were attended by Facundo,
Sebastian, Leonaird Buschiazzo, John Tarmey,
Shelley Tarmey and Tonya Brainsky.
Amy is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, and
Hawaii Pacifi c University. Gaston, a graduate
of Gato Dumas Culinary Institute, is a chef at
the Kahala in Ohahu. They plan on traveling
throughout South and Central America.

Wedding: McGivern and Bove

Heather L. McGivern and Gianni E. Bove
were married August 26, 2011. Honorable Steven
Hemstreet offi cated. The ceremony and
reception were held at the Hall of Springs, Saratoga
Springs, NY. The bride was escorted by her
father. She is the daughter of Larry and Michele
McGivern of Johnstown, NY.
The groom is the son of William and Monika
Bove of Troy, NY. Maid of honor was Joanna
Butterfi eld of Clifton Park. Bridesmaids were
Julee Hart of Johnstown, Kristine Thomas of
Charlotte, NC., Katrina Sokal of Denver, CO and
Jennifer Eastman of NYC. Best man was Ryan
Holohan of Wynantskill. Groomsmen were Laurence
J. McGivern IV, brother of the bride, of Las
Vegas, NV., Jeffery Dunn of Albany, Eric Cocco
of Troy, T.J. Snyder of Clifton Park, and Daniel
Rancourt of Saratoga Springs.

Anniversary: Catalfamo

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph “Judge” (Nappi) Catalfamo
of Schenectady recently celebrated their
65th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married November 24, 1946
at St. Anthony’s Church, Schenectady.
Mrs. Catalfamo graduated from Schenectady
High School. She enjoys cooking, decorating
and taking care of her family.
Her husband is a graduate of Schenectady
High School and served in the Navy. He retired
as a construction supervisor from the State of
NY. He enjoys golfi ng, painting, bowling and
Their children are Joseph Catalfamo of Westport,
CT and David Catalfamo of Albuquerque,
NM. Their grandchildren are Lucy Catalfamo-
Romero of San Diego, CA, Anthony Catalfamo
of Albuquerque, NM, John Catalfamo and
Emma Catalfamo, both of Wesport, CT and one
great-grandchild, Gianna Antoinette Romero of
San Diego, CA.
Antoinette fi rst caught Judge’s eye in the
seventh-grade and they reunited at the age of
18. Antoinette was walking out of church and
noticed Judge standing outside. she said to him,
“What are you doing here”? He replied, “I enlisted
in the service and I’m leaving tomorrow”.
They exchanged addresses and started writing
each other. According to Judge, it didn’t take
long for Antoinette to realize she had a gem! 65
years later, they are still head over heels for one
