Angela and Ralph Bassi
of Schenectady, proudly announce
the engagement of
their son, Nicholas Louis Bassi,
to Sara Danielle Best, daughter
of Karen Lobascio of Swedesboro,
NJ., and William Best of
West Deptford, NJ. Nicholas is
the grandson of Margaret Bassi.
Sara is the granddaughter of
Mario Lobascio and Kathryn
The future groom graduated
from the Peter J. Tobin College
of Business at Saint John’s
University with a degree in
marketing and is employed at
Albany Medical Center.
The bride-to-be is a graduate
of Ernest Mario School of
Pharmacy at Rutgers University
and is now a pharmacist at
Albany Medical Center.
The couple met at work,
where they were connected
over their passion for hockey,
family and the Italian culture.
Nick proposed at Washington
Park in Albany with the help of
their poodle, Frankie.
An October 7, 2011 wedding is
planned in New Jersey.
