The future bride is a graduate

School. She received her bachelor’s
and master’s degree from
the University of New Hampshire.
She is a teacher in the
North Colonie School District.
Her fi ance is a graduate of
Mayfi eld High School. He received
his bachelor’s degree
from SUNY Oneonta and his
master’s degree from the University
at Albany. He is a teacher
in the Johnstown School
District.
A July 2011 wedding is
planned.


DEMEO-TEVIS
Engagement: DeMeo and Tevis

Mr. John DeMeo of Schenectady
announces the engagement
of his daughter, Kristin
DeMeo to Matthew Tevis, son
of Douglas and Karen Tevis of
Cortlandt Manor, NY. Kristin
is also the daughter of the late
Diane DeMeo.

of the University at Albany,
where she earned her bachelor’s
degree and The College of
Saint Rose, where she earned
her master’s degree. She is a
school psychologist for Bethlehem
Central School District.
Her fi ance is a graduate of
Siena College, where he earned
his bachelor’s degree. He is
director of client relations
for Meritain Health, NY, New
York.
A July 2011 wedding is
planned in Saratoga Springs.

SUNY Plattsburgh with a bachelor’s
degree in elementary and
special education. She received
her master’s degree in literacy

in 2006. She is a special education
teacher in Mooers, NY.
Her fi ance is a 2001 graduate
of Glens Falls High School
and a 2005 graduate of SUNY
Plattsburgh with a degree in
criminal justice. He is employed
by the New York State
Police.
The couple became engaged
while on vacation in Disney
World! A November 2011 wedding
is planned.

Anniversary: Spaulding

Kathleen and Gordon
Spaulding of Rotterdam recently
celebrated their 65th
wedding anniversary with family
and friends at the Windham
House.
They were married February
23, 1946.
Gordon served in the US
Army and Air Force during
World War II. He retired from
the General Electric Co. in
1989. Kathleen retired from the
IBM Corp in 1990.
Their children are Pamela
and Jerry Pedinotti of
Niskayuna and Naples, FL and
Wayne Spaulding of Napa, CA.
Their granddaughter, Whitney
Spaulding lives in Newark,
Delaware.
