Engagement: Murphy and Noonan

Brian and Paula Murphy of
Glenmont announce the engagement
of their daughter,
Jessica Murphy to Sean Noonan,
son of Michael and Mary
Karen Noonan of Albany. Jessica
is the granddaughter of the
late Paul and Mary Ricciardi of
Schenectady and Joan Murphy
of Albany and the late Frederick
The future bride is a a graduate
of Bishop Maginn High
School; Siena College, with a
BA in psychology and is currently
a 4th year medical student
at New York Medical College
pursuing her M.D. degree.
Her fi ance is a graduate of
LaSalle Institute and the University
at Albany with a BA degree
in history. He is employed
in records management at
Moody’s Corporation, NY, NY.

Wedding: Maloney and Minchow

Randi Maloney and Gabriel
Minchow were married October
1, 2010 at Raphael Vineyard,
Long Island, New York.
The bride is the daughter of
Thomas and Candace Maloney
of Niskayuna and Sandra and
Michael Major of Troy.
The groom is the son of Nan
Minchow of Eugene, OR and
Richard Wright of Seattle, WA.
Matron of honor was Erin
Anderson. Bridesmaids were
Casi Adams, Heather Lotito,
Melissa Bloomer, Lela Minchow,
Liz Derkevics and Jenna
Ziobrowski. Flower girls were
Paige and Cambrie Adams and
Sara Zapata.
Best man was Daniel
Greenhalgh. Ushers were David
Greenhalgh, Jason Shelton,
Mathew Leonard, Steve
Vasquez, Steve Campise. Ringbearer
was Julien Zapata.
The bride is a graduate of
Siena College. Her husband is
a graduate of the University of
Oregon. They are both executives
with Bed, Bath & Beyond.
The couple took a wedding
trip to Anguilla. They reside in
Northport, Long Island, NY.

Anniversary: Doak

Robert and Kathy Doak of
Schenectady recently celebrated
their 60th wedding anniversary
with a surprise party given
by their family at Canali’s Restaurant.
They were married December
24, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran
Robert served in the U.S.
Army in Korea and retired
from the U.S. Postal Service in
1990. Kathy retired from Montgomery
Ward’s in 1998.
Their children are Vicki and
Michael Affi nito of Guilderland,
Linda and James Duell
of Scotia and David Doak of
Schenectady, deceased in 2004.
They have four grandsons;
Cris and Jeremy Affi nito and
Rob and Josh Duell.
