Jillian Caracciolo and Brody Savoie were
married September 16, 2011. The wedding
and reception took place at the Hall of Springs,
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Carol
Caracciolo of Burnt Hills, NY. The groom is the
son of Reid and Carol Savoie of Wilbraham, MA.
The couple are both graduates of Western
New England University, Springfi eld, MA. The
bride is a program coordinator at Bridgewater
Associates in Westport, CT. The groom is a sales
representative at Cintas in Branford, CT.
Marty and Amelia Scardino of Maida Lane,
Rotterdam, recently celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary with a family dinner party. The
dinner party was given by their children and
spouses, Marty and Debbie Scardino of Esperance;
Mark Scardino of Clifton Park; Michael
and Joann Scardino of Bonita Springs, Florida;
and Mary Jo and Mark Sullivan of Niskayuna.
Marty and Amelia were married on October
14, 1951, in Schenectady.
The former Amelia Ciarmiello graduated from
Nott Terrace High School and worked at the
Schenectady County Department of Social Services
SJTA (Schenectady Job Training Agency).
Her husband graduated from Nott Terrace High
School and was a home-building carpenter.
They have fi ve grandchildren.
Thomas and Natalie (Dybas) Sefcik of Amsterdam,
recently celebrated their 60th wedding
anniversary with dinner and music at Katie
O’Byrnes, Schenectady. The party was hosted
by their children and spouses.
The couple were married October 27, 1951
at St. Stanislaus Church in Amsterdam. Thomas
worked in the dairy business and was a carpenter.
Natalie is a homemaker.
Their children are Kathy and Ed Conway,
Gail and Mark Louison, all of Amsterdam. They
have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
