Engagement: DeSieno and Muckell

Arthur and Lori DeSieno
of Glenville announce the engagement
of their daughter Alison
Marie DeSieno to Jonathan
Steven Muckell, son of Douglas
and Corrine Muckell of Bethel,
CT.
The future bride is a graduate
of Scotia–Glenville High
School and received bachelor
degrees in mathematics and
computer science with a minor
in economics from St. Lawrence
University. She received
her master’s degree in information
technology from RPI. She
is an IT specialist at NYS Offi
ce for People with Developmental
Disabilities.
Her fi ance is a graduate of
Bethel High School and received
bachelor degrees in
mathematics and computer
science with a minor in economics
from St Lawrence University
and his master’s degree
in computer systems engineering
from RPI. He attends the
University at Albany, where
he is pursuing a Ph.D in informatics.
He is an IT specialist at
NYS Offi ce of Temporary and
Disability Assistance.
The couple were engaged in
May of 2009, while hiking in
the Red Rock Canyon, Nevada.
A November 2010 wedding is
planned.

Marissa Palermo and Michael
Hebert were married
June 26, 2010. The ceremony
and reception took place at
Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia
with Judge Howard Aison offi
ciating.
The bride is the daughter
of Christine and Rex (step–father)
Wood of Clifton Park and
Joseph Palermo of Mayfi eld.
The groom is the son of Jenny
and Joe Cerroni of Waterford.
Maid of honor was Jessica
Zdeb. Bridesmaids were Jennifer
Knapp, Victoria Barrows
and April Jones. Flowergirl was
Kailey Jones.
Best man was Lionel Bliss.
Ushers were Michael Palermo,
Daniel Priest and Matthew
Wampler. Ringbearer was
Maximus Palermo.


ROBERT AND MARGARET NAVARETTE
Anniversary: Navarette

Margaret and Robert Navarette
of Van Wormer Road,
Schenectady, NY, recently celebrated
their 60th wedding
anniversary with a renewal of
their vows on August 19, 2010.
A party was given to them by
the Baptist Health & Rehabilitation
Center in Scotia, NY,
where Robert is a resident.
Family, friends and Pastor Dennis
Meyer, of Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church in Scotia, attended.
The Navarettes were married
August 19, 1950 at the First
English Lutheran Church in
Schenectady, NY.
Their daughter, Karen Stone,
is deceased. They have four
grandchildren, Matthew 22,
Jonathan 20, Elizabeth 18, and
Christopher 15.
