Engagement: Clark and Wertalik

Lauren Katherine Clark,
daughter of Anthony and Mary
Clark of Perrysburg, and Steven
Michael Wertalik, son of Dr.
Louis Wertalik of Clifton Park,
New York, and Elaine Angerosa
Wertalik of Schenectady, New
York, announce their engagement.
Lauren is a 2002 graduate of
St. Ursula Academy, and a 2005
graduate of Ohio University,
where she received a bachelor
of specialized studies degree
in sociology and adventure
recreation. She is an admissions
counselor for The Oakley
School in Oakley, Utah.
Steven is a 1997 graduate
of Niskayuna High School in
Schenectady, and a 2001 graduate
of Quinnipiac University,
Hamden, Connecticut, where
he received a bachelor of science
degree in business. He
is the national accounts sales
manager at The Canyons Resort
in Park City, Utah.
An fall wedding at Sorrel
River Ranch Resort in Moab,
Utah is planned.

Engagement: Lawrence and Osinski

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Osinski
of Saratoga Springs, NY are
proud to announce the engagement
of their son, Kevin Osinski
to Tessa Lawrence, daughter
of Michael Czarniecki of Sorrento,
Tessa graduated from the
University of Maine at Orono
with a BS in business administration
and is employed as a
marketing manager for Veri-
Sign, Inc.
Kevin received his BA in
economics from Binghamton
University and is a senior project
manager for Fannie Mae.
He is also working toward his
MBA at George Washington
The couple resides in the
Capitol Hill neighborhood in
Washington, DC.
A summer wedding in Maine
is planned.

Greg Burnett and Samantha
Jorgenson of Seattle, Washington
proudly announce their engagement.
Greg is the son of Katherine
Burnett and the late Thomas
Burnett of Amsterdam, New
York. He is a multi clinic physical
therapy director.
Samantha is the daughter of
Amor and Debra Mondares of
Mill Creek, WA. She is Washington
state’s regional sales
leader for Holiday Retirement.
Samantha and Greg plan a
September 2011 wedding.

Wedding: Ganther and Prest

Julie Ganther and Joseph
Prest Jr. were married June
11, 2010. The wedding and reception
took place at Sterup
Square, Troy, NY.
Julie is the daughter of Rita
Ganther of Rotterdam and the
late John Ganther. Joseph is the
son of Joseph Prest of Cohoes
and Lynn Freeman of Selkirk.
The couple took a honeymoon
trip to St. Lucia and reside
in Rotterdam.

Wedding: Giemza and Kline

Sarah Giemza and Dave
Kline were married July 3,
2010. The wedding and reception
were held at their home in
Galway. Pastor Bill Otterbeck
offi ciated.
The bride is the daughter of
Paul and Carma Giemza of Rotterdam.
The groom is the son
of Gary and Dorothy Kline of
Maid of honor was Chelsea
Facci, cousin of the bride.
Bridesmaid was Robin Kline,
daughter of the groom. Best
man was Steve Kline, brother
of the groom. Usher was Jeff
Kline, son of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of
Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons
High School. She is a licensed
massage therapist.
Her husband is a graduate of
Perry Hall Christian School.He
is an automotive technician.
The couple took a wedding
trip to Corpus Christi Beach,

Anniversary: Andrews

Edwin and Beverly Andrews
of Front St., Schenectady, recently
celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary with a
dinner party attended by family
and friends at Cornell’s Restaurant,
Guests included the couple’s
best man, Kent Lindquist;
groomsman, Carl Werth, and
bridesmaid, Sherri Fisher, sister
of Mrs. Andrews. Guest of
honor was Edwin’s 90 year old
sister, Allene Welkie.
Beverly and Edwin met at
Valparaiso University in Valparaiso,
Indiana, both graduating
in 1960. They were married
on August 20, 1960 at Immanuel
Lutheran Church in Howard
City, MI.
Further education was gained
at Ball State University in
Muncie, IN, where Beverly
earned a MA in music education
and Edwin, a MA and EdD
in American history.
After stints in Buffalo, NY
and Flint, MI, the couple moved
to Schenectady in 1975, where
Mrs. Andrews taught elementary
music in Schenectady
and Dr. Andrews was dean of
liberal arts and sciences at Cobleskill,
both retiring in 2000.
The couple have enjoyed a
lifetime of activities revolving
around music. Mrs. Andrews is
a member of the Chancel Choir
and the Handbell Choir at Zion
Lutheran Church and enjoys
playing the piano. She also
serves on an Eddy Alzheimer’s
Care Team, which offers
respite care to Alzheimer patients
Dr. Andrews started playing
drums at age 13 and played with
Sophisticated Jazz in the capital
district from 1975-1990. He
collects jazz CD’s and fi lm noir
movies. The couple also enjoys
traveling to jazz festivals, especially
in Chicago, where they
spend time each year.
They have two children; Stephen,
who died in an automobile
accident in 1984 at age 19,
and Jennifer (John) Mc Kenna
of Scotia. They also have two

Anniversary: Colucciello

Raymond and Irene Colucciello
of Scotia recently celebrated
their 50th wedding
anniversary at a party, given by
their children at their camp on
Galway Lake with family and

Richard Gullott,, Joe Mastocciolo,
fl owergirl Kathy Rinaldi
and ringbearer Clifford Barber.
The couple were married at
St. Augustine’s Church, Larchmont,
NY on August 14, 1960.
Irene is a graduate of SUNY
Oneonta. She is a retired teacher
from Schalmont Schools.
Her husband is a graduate of
SUNY Oneonta, and Columbia
Teachers College, with a master’s
degree and received his
doctorate from SUNY Albany.
He is superintendent of Albany
Public Schools.
Their children are Jo Marie
and Jim Fretto of Charlton,
Karen Tyler and Michael St.
Jacques of Burnt Hills, Ray Jr.,
of Niskayuna and Richard and
Rachael of Glenville.
They have seven grandchildren,
Jessica, Alex and Jenna
Fretto; Richard and Kevin Tyler
and Seth and Brett Colucciello.
