Engagement: Perillo and Anctil

Jean Perillo-Roman and Paul
Roman and Stephen Perillo and
Cindy Perillo of Schenectady,
NY are pleased to announce
the engagement of their daughter,
Lori Jean Perillo to Nathan
Scott Anctil, son of Bryan and
Sharron Anctil of Rouses Point,
New York.
The future bride attended
Mohonasen High School and
received a bachelor of arts in
legal studies and master’s in
higher education administration
at the University at Buffalo,
where she was a four year
starter on the women’s soccer
team. She is an assistant athletic
director at Siena College.
Her fi ance attended Northeastern
Clinton Central School,
graduated with great distinction
from Clarkson University
with a bachelor of science in
civil engineering and received
hs master of business administration,
summa cum laude,
from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute. He is a conservation
engineer for the New York
Power Authority.

Anniversary: Salamone

Angelo and Rose Salamone
of Niskayuna recently celebrated
their 60th anniversary
with their loving family. They
were married at St. Anthony’s
Church in Schenectady, New
York on October 8, 1950.
Angelo Salamone, a Christian
Brother’s Academy graduate
and an inductee into their
Basketball Hall of Fame, served
two years in the United States
Rose graduated from Nott
Terrace High School and
worked at General Electric Co.
Together they founded and
operated Uniform Village, Inc. where Angelo spent his career
as President and Rose as Vice
They are surrounded in love
by fi ve children, nine grandchildren
and one great- grandchild.
Their children and their spouses
are: Bonnieand Lee Strader,
Donna and Harvey Singer,
Elaine and John Ciccarelli,
Kathleen Salamone Garrett and
Tom and Anne Salamone.
Angelo and Rose enjoy
their summers at their cottage
in Rainbow Beach, Bolton
Landing, NY with family and

Anniversary: Marotta

Anthony G. Marotta and
Elizabeth A. (Bissett) Marotta
were married September 17th,
1950, in St. Joseph’s Church,
Schenectady, NY.
A celebration honoring the
Scotia couple as they marked
their 60th wedding anniversary
was held on September 19th
with family, friends, and neighbors
gathering for a surprise
garden party at the couples
Scotia home. Joining them in
the gathering were all surviving
members of their wedding
party including Mary Starsiak,
Peggy Hood and Robert Komp
and fl ower girl Sandy (Duchane)
The party was given by their
children Shelle (Bill) Packman
of Beavercreek, Ohio and Tony
(Carol) Marotta of Saratoga
Springs and their grandchildren
Billy (Kristen) Packman
Jr. of Columbus, OH, Ms. Annalise
Marotta of Albany and
Dr. Nicole Marotta of Atlanta,
Since retirement the Marotta’s
have enjoyed snowbirding
to Florida each winter while
spending summers in their
Scotia home. Golfi ng, gardening
and cooking are their favorite
pastimes. They credit their
faith in God and his blessings,
loving family and close friends
for their life’s successes.
