The future bride is a graduate
of South Glens Falls High
School. She is an auditor at
Trans World Entertainment
Corporation.
He fi ance is a graduate of
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central
School. He is co-founder
of Conceited Software and employed
as a software developer
for Trans World Entertainment
Corp.
An October 2011 wedding is
planned.

Engagement: McMahon and Sardella

Wendy Marie McMahon and
Andrew Joseph Sardella have
announced their engagement.
Wendy is the daughter of Francis
and Nancy McMahon of
Loudonville, NY. Andrew is the
son of Michael and Elizabeth
Sardella of Scotia, NY.
The future bride is a graduate
of Shaker High School and
the University at Albany, with
a bachelor’s degree in human
biology. She received her certifi
cate in cytotechnology from
Albany College of Pharmacy
and her master’s degree in social
policy from SUNY Empire
State. She is employed by Laboratory
Corporation of America
as a cytotechnologist.
Her fi ance is a graduate of
Scotia-Glenville High School
and Schenectady County Community
College, where he received
his associate degree in
criminal justice. He is a selfemployed
standardbred horse
trainer.
A February 2011 wedding is
planned.


BARNES-URBANO

Joseph and Karen Barnes of
Rotterdam announce the engagement

Kelley Jeanne Barnes to Vito
Alberto Urbano, son of Rocco
and Mirella Urbano, also of
Rotterdam.
The future bride is a graduate
of Mohonasen High School
and Russell Sage College. She
is employed as a substitute
teacher for BOCES.
Her fi ance is a graduate of
Schalmont High School and
Siena College. He is a web developer
for the NYS Offi ce of
Children and Family Services.
A September 2011 wedding is
planned.

Beth DeGrush and Trevor
Oldak were married June 5,
2010. The wedding and reception
were held at Jewell Towne
Vineyards, Amesbury, MA. Justice
of the Peace Amy LeClaire
offi ciated.
The bride is the daughter of
David and Betsy DeGrush of
Schenectady. The groom is the
son of Peter and Brenda Oldak
of Amesbury, MA.
Maid of honor was Laura
DeGrush. Best woman for the
groom was Tenley Oldak, sister
of the groom. Usher was William
DeGrush, brother of the
bride.
The couple are both graduates
of the University of Rochester.
Beth is a senior in medical
school at the College of
Osteopathic Medicine, Chicago.
Her husband is a lead engineer
at the Cellit Company in
Chicago.

Mary Elizabeth Pietrocarlo
and Nicholas Waxwieler Korba
were married September 4,
2010 . The wedding and reception
took place at The Sailing
Camp, Martha’s Vineyard, MA.
Father Ingalls offi ciated.
The bride is the daughter of
Louis and Diane Ehle Pietrocarlo
of Glenville. The groom
is the son of John Korba of Andover,
MA and Jill Waxwieler
of Oak Bluffs, MA.
Maid of honor was Kristin
Pietrocarlo. Bridesmaids were
Jenna Bakken, Laura Marchesiello,
Ashley Wilson and Nikki
Gagnon.
Best man was Alec Korba.
Ushers were Tim and Weston
Waxwieler, Dave Stamas and
Sam Reece. The couple are
both graduates of Bentley University.
Mary is a marketing
coordinator for Environmental
Resource Mgmt. in Boston. Her
husband is a manager at Enterprise
in Newton, MA.
They took a wedding trip to
Aruba. They reside in Newton.

15, 2010. The ceremony and reception

the groom was Lori Ciarmiello.
Mrs. Grandy is employed
by Fortitech Inc, Schenectady.
Her husband is employed by
