Mr. and Mrs. David Brzozowski
of Pattersonville announce
the engagement of
their daughter, Rebekah Elizabeth
Brzozowski to Lawrence
Charles Stoker, III, son of Rev.
and Mrs. Lawrence Charles
Stoker, Jr., of Ballston Lake.
Rebekah and Lawrence were
both homeschooled through
high school.
The future bride received
a full athletic scholarship for
women’s rowing and received
her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology
from the University of
Minnesota, Minneapolis, 2010.
Her fi ance received his bachelor’s
degree in aeronautical
and mechanical engineering
from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute, 2010. He was a member
of the “The Smart Scholarship
Program”. He will be
working for the Department of
Defense in Ogden, Utah as an
aeronautical engineer.
A September 2010 wedding
is planned.


GEORGE AND ANNA BUDESHEIM 50TH ANNIVERSARY

George and Anna Budesheim
of Saratoga Lake recently celebrated
their 50th wedding
anniversary with a renewal of
their vows and a dinner, given
by their children and eight
grandchildren.
The couple were married
April 30, 1960.


WILLIAM AND LUCILLE CHABOT 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Anniversary: Chabot

Mr. and Mrs. William F.
Chabot of Ballston Lake recently
celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary with a
dinner and dance party hosted
by their daughter Lynn Chabot
at the Water’s Edge Lighthouse
Restaurant.
The former Lucille (Cookie)
Mrozowski of Schenectady
and Bill Chabot of Charlton
were married at St. Adalbert’s
Church in Schenectady on May
1, 1960.
They have three children,
Bill, Lynn (Toni) and Barry
Chabot; fi ve grandchildren,
Aime, Rachael, Ryan, Zachary
and Jake Chabot and one greatgrandchild,
Jayden Randall, all
of the capital district.
Bill graduated in 1956 from
BHBL High School and was
a member of the NY Air National
Guard. Cookie graduated
in 1958 from Mont Pleasant
High School. They both retired
from KAPL, Inc. Bill works for
Northeast Turf at Schenectady
Municipal Golf Course and Lucille
works for the Schenectady
County District Attorney’s Offi
ce at the Children’s Advocacy
Center. They volunteer at the
New York Empire State Games
and the Southeast Guide Dog
Center in Palmetto, Florida.
Bill and Cookie are avid golfers
and dancers. They are former
round dance (synchronized
ballroom) instructors.


JOHN AND CLARISSA SULLIVAN 50TH ANNIVERSARY
Anniversary: Sullivan

John and Clarissa “Chris”
Sullivan of Lakeland, FL., recently
celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary with a
week long trip to Ft. Lauderdale,
FL and a dinner at the
Olive Garden and celebratory
party after dinner at their
home. The party was hosted by
their children.
The couple were married
May 21, 1960 at St. Thomas
Catholic Church, Schenectady,
New York.
The former Clarissa Lapham
graduated from Mont Pleasant
High School and was a secretary
for G.E. from 1954-1961.
Her husband was a graduate
of Schuyler High School
and Hudson Valley Technical
Institute in 1957. He served
four years in the U.S. Navy and
served in the Naval Reserves.
He worked in G.E.’s service
shop (1959) and then the U.S.
Postal Service for 39 years, retiring
in 2002. He enjoys golfing,
bowling, badminton, football
and basketball.
Their children are Mark Sullivan,
Patrick Sullivan and Colleen
(Alan) Sullivan Clark, all
of Lakeland, FL. Their grandchildren
are Joseph Clark and
Jeffrey Clark, both of Baton
Rouge, LA.
