Engagement: Casino and Renzi

Mr. and Mrs. James R. Casino
of Schenectady have announced
the engagement of
their daughter, Cara Marie
Abryanna Casino, to Michael
Lee Renzi, son of Steven and
Leah Renzi of Burnt Hills.
The future bride attended
Schenectady High School. Cara
received a bachelor’s degree
in elementary education at the
State University of New York at
Oswego and a master’s degree
in curriculum and instructional
strategies from the University
of New England. She is employed
by the Schenectady City
School District.
Her fi ance attended Burnt
Hills-Ballston Lake High
School. He is a graduate of the
State University of New York at
Oswego, with a bachelor’s degree
in meteorology and a minor
in mathematics. He is the
information technolgy manager
for North Country Weather,
in Glens Falls, NY.
The future bride is the
granddaughter of Catherine R.
Habanec. The future groom is
the grandson of Mr. and Mrs.
Anthony Renzi and Mr. and
Mrs. Leroy Foley.
A July wedding is planned.

Wedding: Eldred and Glennon

Lauren Whitney Eldred and
Aron Patrick Glennon were
married at the Hall of Springs
in Saratoga, NY, on July 3, 2009.
The bride is the daughter of
Lyle and Eileen Eldred of Angelina
Drive, Niskayuna, NY.
The groom is the son of Karen
Glennon of Hampton, NH and
Thomas and Nancy Glennon of
Bristol, RI.
The bride and groom were
honored to be surrounded by
loving family and friends. They
traveled through Europe, from
Portugal to Turkey on their
The couple met while each
obtaining a master’s degree at
New York University; she in visual
arts administration and he
in music technology.
Currently the bride is the
director of operations and external
affairs for a technology
design fi rm in Manhattan. The
groom is a music technology
PhD candidate in New York
University’s MARL Research
They live happily in Park
Slope, Brooklyn.

Anniversary: Murawski

Vicki Sullivan of Prospect,
CT and Karen J.M. Francisco
of Scotia, NY, along with their
husbands and children are
pleased to announce their parents
50th Golden Anniversary.
A family celebration, given by
their daughters, sons-in-law
and grandchildren, was enjoyed
at the Water’s Edge Lighthouse
in Glenville on April 17, 2010.
The couple were married
April 17, 1960 at St. Anthony’s
Church in Schenectady, NY.
Toni was an elementary
teacher for Scotia-Glenville
Central Schools for 32 years.
Ted worked as an electronics
technician for the New York
Telephone Co. for 35 years.
They have three wonderful
grandchildren; Caitlin, Joshua
and Garrett.
Toni and Ted have enjoyed
many years of traveling across
the states and all over Europe.
Toni enjoys gardening, nature,
reading and card games. Ted
enjoys golfi ng, card games and
traveling. Together they have
immensely enjoyed the company
of their family and their
close friends.
Ted and Toni celebrated
with a European cruise.
