Kenneth and Julia Duchesne
announce the engagement of
their daughter, Sarah Regina
Duchesne to Christopher
Wayne Cook, son of William
and Cindi Pytlovany. Sarah, a
graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston
Lake Schools is presently employed
with Fragomeni Insurance
of Saratoga Springs.
Christopher is a graduate of
Scotia-Glenville Schools and
served honorably with the
United States Army.
A 2011 wedding is planned.

Anthony and Flora Colangelo

Scarpace, son of Diane

The future bride is a graduate
of Lewiston Porter High
School and received her BS
and MS degrees in early childhood
education from SUNY at
Buffalo. She is employed by the
Niagara Falls School District.
Her fi ance is a 2002 graduate
of Shenendehowa High School
and received his BS degree in
mechanical engineering from
SUNY at Buffalo. He is a mechanical

Anniversary: Snyder

Leonard and Yvonne Snyder
celebrated their 70th wedding
anniversary on June 1st.
They were married June 1,
1940 at Sacred Heart Church in
Schenectady, NY.
Yvonne Fortin, a lifetime
homemaker, enjoys square
dancing, travel and reading, as
well as her fl owers.
Her husband, a World War
II veteran, was employed by
ALCO and General Electric in
Schenectady. He enjoys square
dancing, travel, wood crafting
and gardening. They are both
former members of Hicks and
Chicks and avid Yankee fans.
They have two sons, Leonard
and his wife, Mary of Glenville
and Clifford of Clifton Park;
a daughter, Bonnie of Myrtle
Beach, SC and several grandsons,
a granddaughter and four
