Joseph Marino and Susan DiCamillo of Schenectady announce the engagement of their son, Patrick Charles Marino to Amanda Marie Kalal, daughter of Norman and Kimberly Kalal of North Ridgeville, OH. Patrick is the grandson of Mrs. Charles B. King of Bennington, Vermont.
The future bride is a graduate of Westlake High School, Ohio Northern University, with a bachelor’s degree and Canisius College, where she received her master’s degree. She is associate director of alumni affairs at Colgate University.
Her fiance is a graduate of Guilderland High School, Rochester Institute of Technology, with a bachelor’s degree and Canisius College, where he received his master’s degree. He is assistant director of residential life at Hamilton College.
A July 2010 wedding is planned.

The future bride is a 1998 graduate of Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School. She is attending Maria College and is employed by Autotask Corp.
Her fiance is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. He is a veteran of the U.S.M.C. having served in Iraqi Freedom, 2003. He is employed by the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Dept.

John and Rosemary Wisniewski of Galway Lake recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at the Van Dyke Restaurant, given by family members.
The couple were married October 17, 1959 at St. Joseph’s Church, Scotia. Rev. George Brucker officiated.
The former Rosemary Naples graduated from Scotia High School. She retired in 2001 as secretary to the business administrator at Scotia-Glenville Schools. She enjoys reading, spending time with her grandchildren, being a Hospice volunteer and Eucharistic minister at Saratoga Hospital.
Her husband graduated from Mont Pleasant High School. He served in the Army National Guard as a staff sergeant and retired from Tougher Industries as foreman in 1995. He enjoys fishing, sailing, gardening and horseback riding.
Their children are John Wisniewski of Glenville, Laurie Germano of Reston, VA and Scott Wisniewski of Gloversville. Their grandchildren are Kayla and Ian Wisniewski of Scotia; Erica, Krista and Niki Germano of Reston, VA, Katie and Alex Wisniewski of Fonda; Bradley Wisniewski of Gloversville and Jessica Chain of Gloversville.
