William and Lois Seyse of Scotia, and Amaechi Izeogu of Albany are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Eric Seyse and Chinasa Izeogu.
The future bride is the daughter of the late Kachi Izeogu of Long Beach, CA and is an alumna of Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Lawrence University, and is currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program for Library and Information Science at SUNY Albany.
Her fiance is the grandson of Flower Buhrmaster and the late Kenneth Buhrmaster and Helen Seyse and the late Paul Seyse. He is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and has a bachelors degree in Physics and History, and a Master’s degree in education from St. Lawrence University. He is currently employed at J. H. Buhrmaster Company.
An August 2010 wedding isplanned.
Patricia and Eric Amering of Guilderland announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Amering to Matthew Hamilton, son of Cynthia and Thomas Hamilton of Genoa, New York.
The future bride graduated from SUNY at Brockport with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and Ithaca College, with a master’s degree in adolescence education.
Her fiance graduated from SUNY Brockport with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
The couple met at SUNY Brockport. A July 2011 wedding is being planned.
Marie-Therese Fabrizio Mudd
and David James Witte were married July 25, 2009 at The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Washington D.C. Rev. David Mudd, uncle of the bride officiated the union. A reception followed at The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington DC.
The bride is the daughter of James Mudd of Saratoga Springs and Linda Fabrizio of Saratoga Springs and Long Beach, NY. The groom is the son of James and Betsy Witte, also of Saratoga Springs.
Maid of honor was Annarosa Fabrizio Mudd, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christine Fabrizio, Elise Mudd, Catherine Russell, Kathryn Miller and Sophie Norris. Flowergirl was Holly Moore. Readers were Sarah Witte, Nicholas Mudd, Patricia Moore and Lemoine Dickinson.
Best man was Timothy Kirkpatrick. Ushers were Steven Mudd, Brian Carrier, Ryan Champagne, Devin Fay, Kevin Roff and Adam Webb. Junior ushers were Richard Nichols and Stephen Nichols. Ringbearer was Bryce Waltman.
The bride is a graduate of The College of William and Mary, with a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude in classical studies. She earned her master’s degree in teaching from Hunter College, NYC. She is a Latin teacher at Rye Country Day School, Rye, NY.
Her husband graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and received his master’s degree in teaching from Hunter College. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in environmental engineering from The Cooper Union, NYC. He is a mechanical engineer for Hazen and Sawyer, NYC.
The couple took a wedding trip to St. Croix, Virgin Islands. They reside in New York City.

ter of Robert and Rita Young of Burnt Hills, was married to Brian Thomas Knick, son of Anthony and Ann Knick of Bozeman, Montana on January 9, 2010 in Livingston, Montana.
Maid of honor was Ellen Descisciolo. Bridesmaids were Michelle Lamalfa, Sheila Knick and Geri Vailon. Best man was Daniel Young, brother of the bride. Ushers were Jeff Powers, Adam Green and Steve Dent.
The ceremony and reception were held at the Train Depot in Livingston, MT.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central Schools, Connecticut College, and the University at Albany, School of Public Health. The groom is a 1998 graduate of Bozeman High School. He is a machinist and is employed by Knick Machining of Bozeman, MT.
The couple resides in Bozeman, MT.
Paul & Angela (Natale) Cer-
kowski of Mechanicville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their wedding vows at a surprise party attended by family and friends.
The party was given by their children Paul (Barb) Cerkowski, Steve (Rita) Cerkowski, Sue (Frank) Bolesky, all of Mechanicville, Cheri (Dee) Carbonaro of Troy, and Scott (Shannon) Cerkowski of Schuylerville; and their grand-children, Nichole & Stephanie Cerkowski, Josh & Jessica Cerkowski, Ryan & Alexis Bolesky, all of Mechanicville, and Demetrio, Dylan and Devin Carbonaro of Troy.
The Cerkowski’s were married February 26, 1960 at the Church of the Assumption in Mechanicville.
Paul and Angela both graduated from Mechanicville High School. Angela was employed as a head bookkeeper for the Golub Corporation. Paul was employed by General Electric Silicone. He currently drives for Toyota of Clifton Park.
