Engagement: Kiesow and Tobin

Mr. & Mrs. Thomas (Maggie) Kiesow of Schenectady have announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda C. (Mandy) Kiesow, to Richard John Tobin, son of Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Marcia) Tobin of Havelock, NC.
The future bride is a graduate of Schenectady High School and the College of St. Rose with a BA in English, and is currently employed at Coldwell Banker Prime Properties.
Her fiancé is a graduate of SUNY Oswego with a BS in applied mathematics and is currently employed as an engineer with UPS.
An October 2010 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Anzalone and Smith

Susan Schmid of Scotia and Gary and Lori Smith of Rotterdam announce the engagement of their children, Sara-Kate Anzalone and Joshua J. Smith.
The future bride is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. She is a dispatcher for the Rotterdam Police Department.
Her fiance is a graduate of Mohonasen High School. He is a firefighter at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory.
A June 2010 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Bills and Derby

Lillian Bills of Maplewood Manor Nursing Home, Saratoga and Gordon Derby of Victory Mills have announced their engagement. The wedding date is to be announced and they will be married at Maplewood Nursing Home, Ballston Spa.

Benjamin Seymour Sarah Samson
Wedding: Samson and Seymour

Sarah Kathryn Samson, daughter of Robert and Linda Samson of Voorheesville, NY and granddaughter of William J. Bennett of Rotterdam, NY., married Benjamin Joseph Seymour, son of Jeanne Cason of Guilderland, NY on October 16, 2009. They were honored to have Rev. David G. Corlett preside over the ceremony, held at Delmar Reformed Church.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Amy Giddens, the bride’s cousin, was maid of honor. Christopher Rench, a friend of the groom, served as best man. A reception followed at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga.
The bride is a graduate of Albany Academy for Girls, as well as Union College, and works for the City of Albany. The groom is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and Siena College, and works in emergency medical services for the Town of Colonie.
The happy couple took a honeymoon trip to Grenada.

Wedding: Girard and Craver

Bridget Rose Girard and Michael Alan Craver were married June 6, 2009 at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Guilderland. Father Leo Market officiated. A reception followed at Mallozzi’s, Rotterdam.
The bride is the daughter of David and Lorraine Girard of Rotterdam. The groom is the son on Helen Craver of Scotia.
Matron of honor was Nicole Rapp. Bridesmaids were Ashlee Yonos, Ashley Girard, Jennifer Capney, Elizabeth Dame, Allison Marinucci and Rachel Paparella. Flowergirls were Madison Rapp and Emily Girard.
Best man was Josh Craver. ushers were Kyle Girard, David Girard, Andy Girard, Frankie Rapp, Joe Korowajczky and Matt Paparella. Ringbearer was Giovanni Lanaro.
The bride is a graduate of Mohonasen High School. She is a UM specialist with MVP Health Care, Schenectady.
Her husband is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. He is a project manager at Giant Solutions, Amsterdam.
The couple took a wedding trip to St. Lucia. They reside in Rotterdam.
