Allison Rapp and Jeremy Larman were married September 19, 2009 at Orange County Park, Montgomery, NY. A reception followed. Allison is the daughter of Richard and Carol Rapp of Walden, NY. Jeremy is the son of Christopher and Lynn Larman of Amsterdam NY.
Maid of honor was Stephanie LeGrand. Bridesmaids were Sally Sosler, Cynthia Rapp and Amanda Collins.
Best man was Joseph Burke. Ushers were Patrick Little, David Van Allen and Matthew Giulianelli.
The bride is a graduate of the University at Albany. The groom is a graduate of Syracuse University.
They took a wedding trip to St. Lucia and reside in Albany.
Beth Anne, daughter of Terrance and Cathy McKeighan of Salem, NY and Epifanio, son of Frank and Angelina Tamburrino of Mastic Beach, NY were married July 10, 2010 at Princetown Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Duanesburg. A reception followed at Mallozzi’s. Bridesmaids were Debra Sklar, sister Christy McKeighan, Paulina Ceballos, and Nancy Armstrong. Flower girl was Eleanor Repola.
Best man was Patrick Tamburrino, son of the groom. Ushers were Paul Failla, Paul M. Repola, and Mark Armstrong. The bride received her BA and MS degree’s from SUNY Potsdam.
The groom is a graduate of SUNY Farmingdale with an AAS degree and SUNY Oswego with his BA degree.
Joseph and Eugenie (Rene) Stachewicz of Schenectady recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Watersedge Lighthouse given by their children.
The couple were married July 15, 1950 at Immaculate Conception Church.
Eugenie is a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School and retired from the Schaffer Foundation. She enjoys music, choral singing and acting in children’s theaters.
Her husband attended Catholic schools. He retired from Schenectady Chemicals, Inc. He enjoys bowling and gardening. Their children are Faith (Michael) Gifford of Schenectady, Michael (Brenda) Stachewicz of Rotterdam and Robert Stachewicz and Susan Spano of Clifton Park. They have four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Richard and Debra Countermine Jr. of Rexford announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Lynn Countermine to Kevin Scott Barrett, son of Susan Barrett and the late Alan Barrett of Schenectady. The future bride is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, Morrisville State College, with an associate’s degree in applied science. She is a massage therapist at The Medbury Inn & Day Spa in Ballston Spa.
Her fiance is a graduate of Schenectady High School and Modern Welding School. . He is employed by Computer Science Corp., Menands as a senior of enrollment
The couple got engaged in Virginia Beach, VA on the beach, while on vacation. They will marry in September 2010.
James and Olga “Dolly” Hunter of Scotia, NY recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner with guests and family at Cornell’s Restaurant. The couple were married August 19, 1950 in Spraker’s NY.
Olga is a graduate of Roslyn High School, L.I. and Schenectady County Community College. She retired from G.E. with 35 years of service. She enjoys motor homing, traveling and sewing.
Her husband is a graduate of Schoharie High School and served in the U.S. Marines. He is a retired sales engineer from Roland J. Down. He enjoys motor homing, gardening and traveling.
They are both charter members of Faith Baptist Church and Jim is a past president of FMCA-Empire Chapter.
Their children are Cheryl (Robert) Burns, Linda (Ronald) Fedele , all of Bethlehem, NH, and Walter (Kristin) Hunter of Malta, NY. Their grandchildren are David (Ashley) Burns, Coast Guard, Hawaii, Ryan (Ashley) Burns of Charleston, SC, Nathan Burns, Zachary Burns and Lauren Mulkigian (Miss New Hampshire), Kate Mulkigian and Benjamin Mulkigian, all of Bethlehem, NH; and Samantha and Kellie Hunter, both of Malta, NY. They have one great-grandchild, Harley Burns of Hawaii.
It seems like yesterday that Betty and Leo Di Gesare celebrated 50 years. Though the road has been bumpy for Betty, the grace of God has brought her through victorious. Now it’s 60 years.
We have agreed, as well with others that God is not through using her for His Glory.
Their children are David (Susan) Di Gesare of Niskayuna, Dennis (Rosebud) Di Gesare of Niskayuna and Michael (Annette) Di Gesare of Guilderland and 10 grandchildren. Another decade later, 14 great-grandchildren and three more on the way. My, have we been blessed?
We, as well still look forward to our Maine trip with our whole family.

Louis and Marlene Mauro of Schenectady recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The Mauros were married August 20, 1960 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Schenectady.
The former Marlene Mastroianni graduated from Mont Pleasant High School. She was employed by Schenectady BOCES.
Her husband, also a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School, and a graduate of Siena College retired from the Schenectady City School District as principal of Mont Pleasant High School.
Louis and Marlene were high school sweethearts. They enjoy each other, their home, traveling, family, and most of all, their grandchildren.
Their children are Teri Lupi (fiance Kurt Gerfin) and Frank Mauro (deceased). They have four grandchildren, Matthew, Krista, Brittany Lupi and Louis Mauro.
