Engagement: Price and Ochandarena

Lawrence and Stephanie Price of Palatine Bridge, NY announce the engagement of their daughter Kathleen Price to, William Ochandarena, son of Douglas and Barbara Ochandarena of Meadowlakes, TX. Kathleen is the granddaughter of Jakob and Viola Muehl and Angela and the late Palmer Price. William is the grandson of Eunice and the late Berlin Ochandarena and Else and the late Wilson Miles.
The future bride is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She is a customer support engineer at Cisco Systems.
Her fiance is also a graduate of RPI and is currently pursuing his MBA at Santa Clara University. He is a a customer support engineer at Cisco Systems.
A June 2010 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Iacovissi and Powers

Stephen and Juanita Powers of Scotia announce the engagement of their son, Patrick Powers, to Courtney Iacovissi, daughter of Rick and Debra Iacovissi of Rome NY.
The future bride is a graduate of Rome Free Academy and SUNY Geneseo, with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education. She is currently attending Ellis Hospital School of Nursing.
Her fiance is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and received his doctorate in pharmacy from Albany College of Pharmacy. He is a pharmacist in the capital district.
An October 8, 2010 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Purcell and Jeram

James and Sandra Purcell of Niskayuna, NY, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Purcell, to Daniel Jeram, son of Thomas and Ann Jeram of Delmar, NY.
The future bride is a graduate of Niskayuna High School and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from McGill University. From there she attended the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude with a juris doctor degree. She is currently serving as confidential law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Muller, a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court.
The future groom is a graduate of Bethlehem High School and attended Western New England College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is currently working as an accountant
at Gordon and Maikels in Albany.
The couple is planning a June 2010 wedding.

Rodger and Sonia Chase 60th Anniversary
Anniversary: Chase

Rodger and Sonia (Turchyn) Chase of Middle Grove, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married October 22, 1949 at Good Shepherd Church, Amsterdam. Rodger served in the army in WWII. They are both retired; Sonia from Galway Central Schools and Rodger from General Electric.
They have two sons, Ronald and Gerald Chase, both of Galway.

James and Charlotte Bourdeau 50th Anniversary
Anniversary: Bourdeau

James and Charlotte (Reedy) Bourdeau of Rotterdam recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married October 17, 1959 at Fisher Methodist Church in Rotterdam. Their children are Tammy Raucci and David Bourdeau. Their grandchildren are James and Brendan Raucci.
Charlotte is a graduate of Linton High School and the Royal School of Cosmetology She is a hair stylist, a certified aid and is presently aiding the elderly.
James is a graduate of Draper High School. He is a retired sheet metal journeyman and HVAC air systems designer.
The couple are planning a spring vacation.
