Sarah Elizabeth Tyler and Chad William Hilsendager were married May 30, 2009 at the Paulist Father’s Chapel in Lake George.
The bride’s sister, Jill, was maid of honor and the groom’s brother, Cullen, served as best man. Concelebrants were Father Paul Cox and Father Nellis Tremblay of Pilot Knob. Sarah is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Tyler of Kattskill Bay on Lake George, who formerly resided on Dean Street in Niskayuna. Chad is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hilsendager of Woolwich Township, NJ.
A reception was held at the Lake George Club.
Sarah is a 1997 graduate of Niskayuna High School. She graduated from Holy Cross College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Boston University. She is the underwriting manager for the Denver Regional Office of AMICA.
Chad is a 1993 graduate of Grand Junction High School. He is also a graduate of The Colorado School of Mines, and holds a master’s degree from the University of Colorado.
The couple currently resides in Denver, Colorado.
Cindi Ann Giugliano and Michael Charles Cascio were married July 25, 2009 at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lynnfield, MA. Father John Farrell officiated. A reception followed at the Radisson Hotel, Nashua, NH.
The bride is the daughter of Salvatore and Gilfroia Giugliano of Lynnfield, MA., and the granddaughter of Maria Sacco. The groom is the son of Thomas Cascio of Tallahassee, FL and Carol Cascio of Niskayuna.
Matrons of honor were Anna Maria Giugliano and Antoinette Giugliano. Junior bridesmaid was Giuliana Istanbullu. Flowergirl was Aliana Istanbullu.
Best man was Wayne Spiro. Ushers were Marc Cascio, Steven Giugliano and Tayfun Istanbullu. Ringbearers were Salvatore Giugliano and Stefano Giugliano.
Cindi is a graduate of Harvard University. She is a selfemployed registered architect.
Her husband is a graduate of RPI. He is a principal engineer at Vestas in Hudson, MA.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Puerto Rico. They reside in Medfield, MA.
Noelle Justine Bubb and Benjamin David Franklin were married May 16, 2009 at Hobe Sound Community Church, FL. Rev. David Bubb, uncle of the bride officiated. A reception followed in the church garden courtyard.
The bride is the daughter of Jonathan and Sandra Bubb of Delanson, NY.
The groom is the son of Larry and Betty Franklin of Hobe Sound, FL. Noelle is an LPN. Her husband is an EMT.
They took a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic.
Gus and Gloria (DeLucia) Leschen of Rotterdam recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a mass at St. Luke’s Church and a family dinner. The couple met at Little Bo-Peeps Ice Cream Parlor; dated, were engaged and married on October 9, 1949 at St. Columba’s Church.
They have three children, Sandra (G. Ronald) Courington of Albany, Nancy (Arthur) DeLissio and Mark (Cynthia) Leschen, all of Rotterdam. They have one grandson, Maxwell Leschen.
Nicholas and Geraldine (Sitterly) Colamarino of Rotterdam, NY, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner at Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia, NY.
The couple were married September 19, 1959 at St. Mary’s Church in Amsterdam, NY. Nick and Gerri both enjoy swimming, gardening, Yankee baseball and going to casino’s.
Their children are Michael J. Colamarino of Guilderland, NY and Richard J. (Jean) Colamarino of Bentley, MI. Their grandchildren are Maria and Christina Colamarino of Schenectady, NY and Aaron Colamarino of Bentley, MI.
Stephen and Ellen Krawiecki of Schenectady recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at the Turf Restaurant, Scotia. The dinner was hosted by Mark and Debbie Cieslak and Chris and Joe Noonan (nieces and nephews).
The couple were married August 28, 1949 at St. Adalbert Church, Schenectady. Ellen is retired from the banking business. She enjoys bingo, family and friends. Her husband is retired from General Electric. He enjoys bowling, golf and is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 201.
They both enjoy spending winters in Florida and spending time with great-grand nephews and nieces, Alexander, Nick, Elizabeth, Ian, Ella Grace and Bailey.
