Her fiance is a graduate of Cohoes High School, Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Oswego. He is currently employed at Value Options, Latham.

Sally LeVine of Schenectady announces the engagement of her daughter, Erin LeVine, to Walter Sowden, son of Gaiola Sowden of Rapid City, SD. Erin is the daughter of the late Kenneth LeVine. Walter is the son of the late William Sowden.
The future bride received her master’s from Columbia University. She is a human resource consultant.
Her fiance received his master’s from Columbia University. He is a major in the U.S. Army. He has two children, Georgia (8) and William (10).
A June 2009 wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. Ross Johnson of Massena, NY, announce the engagement of their daughter, Krista Johnson, to Jonathan Weakley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Weakley of Charlton, NY. A July 11, 2009 wedding is planned.
Miss Johnson graduated from Massena High School and holds a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Plattsburgh State University. She is also a graduate of the University of Albany with a master of science degree in literacy education. She is employed in the Saranac Lake Central School District.
Mr. Weakley graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and has an associate’s degree in urban tree management from Paul Smith’s College. In May, he will graduate from Paul Smith’s College with a bachelor of science degree in natural resource management and policy. He is a staff sergeant with the New York State National Guard in the 2/108 Infantry and is currently employed by North Country Electrical Services.
The couple resides in Saranac Lake, NY.

The future bride is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is currently pursuing her master’s in business administration from Northeastern University. She is digital sales manager with Hearst Communications in Albany.
Her fiance is a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, Adirondack Community College and Siena College. He is employed by Allerdice Building Supply in Saratoga Springs.

Charles and Marjorie (Pryor) Assini of Niskayuna recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a party at the Mohawk Golf Club. They were married January 16, 1949 at St. Patrick’s Church, Watervliet.
Marjorie is a homemaker. She enjoys writing, volunteering, golf and travel.
Her husband retired as president of Schenectady Insuring Agency, with 49 years of service. He enjoys golf, gardening, travel, WWII books and community service.
Their children are Honorable JoAnne Assini and husband, Kenneth Bulko of Niskayuna, and son, Charles Assini, Jr., Esq. and wife, Jennifer of Niskayuna. They have two grandsons, Ritchie Assini and Sam Assini of Niskyauna.
Pat and Mary Matarazzo of Ballston Lake, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner party with family at Riccitello’s Restaurant. The party was given by their children, Patty and Keith Hamilton, and Lauren and Paul Matarazzo.
The couple were married December 6, 1948. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
