More than 150 girls in grades six through eight attended the 13th annual Sister to Sister Summit at Fulton-Montgomery Community College, sponsored by the Amsterdam-Gloversville-Johnstown branch of the American Association of University Women.
Steven and Betty Snyder recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a barbecue given by their daughters. They were married June 5, 1949 at Eastern Parkway Methodist Church. They have two daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She is a paralegal for Cioffi, Slezak & Wildgrube P.C., Niskayuna. Her fiance is a graduate of Guilderland High School and Siena College. He is vice president of Nexgen Wirelesss & Communications. The future groom proposed at the top of the Eiffel Tower, Paris. A June 2010 wedding is being planned.
