Engagement: Cuda and Iannotti

Teresa Monroe of Slingerlands and Greg Cuda of Saratoga Springs announce the engagement of their daughter Caitlin Cuda, to Michael Iannotti, son of Andy and Mary Iannotti of Amsterdam. Caitlin is the granddaughter of James and Joyce Monroe and Theresa Cuda and the late Francis Cuda. Michael is the grandson of Donald and Veronica Bond and Andrew and Marilyn Iannotti.
The future bride is a graduate of Amsterdam High School. She received her undergraduate degree in childhood and special education from SUNY Cortland and her master’s degree in literacy from the University at Albany. She is an elementary teacher in the Schenectady City School Dist.
Her fiance is a graduate of Amsterdam High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Syracuse University. He is a senior associate CPA at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Albany.
An August 2009 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Schulte and Armstrong

Tom and Cindy Schulte of Scotia announce the engagement of their daughter Kathryn Schulte, to , son of Mary and Wayne Armstrong of Rotterdam.
The future bride is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose. She is employed at The State University of New York-Research Foundation.
Her fiance is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and is attending the University at Albany. He served in the U.S. Army.
A September wedding is planned at River Stone Manor.

Engagement: Borden and Wagner

Stanley and Patricia Skinner of Middleburgh, New York, formerly of Schenectady, announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah Borden, to Allen Charles Wagner, the son of Douglas and Robin Wagner of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Linton High School, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She is currently pursuing an advanced degree in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania and works as a nurse manager for group homes in the Philadelphia area, where she lives while continuing her studies.
Mr. Wagner is a graduate of Kona High School, Kona HI. He is also a graduate of Dana College in Nebraska. He is a marathon/long distance runner and currently works for a courier service in the Philadelphia area.
The couple plan a spring 2010 wedding in Kailua- Kona, Hawaii.

Engagement: Yozawitz and Ostrov

Nancy Ostrov of Clifton Park and Dr. Arthur and Loretta Ostrov of Saratoga Springs announce the engagement of their son, Douglas Ostrov to Dr. Elissa Yozawitz, daughter of Dr. Allan and Arlene Yozawitz of Fayetteville.
Douglas is the grandson of Renee Berkowitz and the late Senator Albert Berkowitz and late Harold and Etta Ostrov.
Elissa is the granddaughter of Arthur and Frances Greenfield, and the late Louis and Sylvia Yozawitz.
Doug is a graduate of Shenendehowa HS and a Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Tufts University. He received his MA from Johns Hopkins. He is an economic development consultant.
Elissa is a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School and Magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Rochester. She received her M.D. from Upstate Medical University. She is a pediatric neurology fellow at Montefiore Medical Center.
A May 2010 wedding is planned in Syracuse.

Wedding: York

Michelle Haley and Andrew York were married April 18, 2009 at Sherwood Country Club, Thousand Oaks, CA. A reception followed. Michelle is the daughter of Dave and Gayle Haley of Westlake, CA. Andrew is the son of Bill and Karen York of Galway, NY.
Maid of honor was Nichole Haley. Bridesmaids were Roxanne Hinojosa, Amy Malstede and Laura Allen.
Best man was Nathan York. Ushers were Alex Haley, Matt McNutt and James Wong.
The bride is an insurance sales representative for American Business Insurance in Westlake, CA.
Her husband is a graduate of Sage College and SUNY Purchase. He is an insurance sales representative for Scott Litman Insurance, Agoura, CA.

Leo and Lore Koppel 60th Wedding Anniversary
Anniversary: Koppel

Lore and Leo Koppel of Fort Plain, NY and San Juan, Puerto Rico are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at the home of their daughter in Jacksonville, FL, where they will be renewing their wedding vows. They were married July 10, 1949, in New York City. She is the former Lore Baer. Family and friends from as far as London, California, New York and Washington, DC are coming to Jacksonville for a celebration weekend. Their children are Karen Koppel Kaunitz, Esq. (Andrew), Jacksonville, FL, Barbara Koppel Pedley, M.D. (Timothy), Rye, NY, Anita Koppel Blackman (Ralph), Arlington, VA and Paul I. Koppel (Sheila), Latham, NY. The Koppels have 7 grandchildren, Lauren and Nathaniel Pedley, Kate and David Kaunitz, Max and Mia Blackman and Alexander Koppel.
