Engagement: Gomez and LaGrange

Zoraida Gracesqui of Colonie, NY proudly announces the engagement of her daughter, Amy Nathalie Gomez, to Lee LaGrange, son of Roy and Barbara Fetter of Mariaville Lake, NY and Mark LaGrange of Fonda, NY. The future bride is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and is an MD and MBA candidate. Her fiance is a graduate of Schalmont High School and Schenectady Community College. He is currently a business owner and entrepreneur. The couple are planning a July 24, 2009 wedding.

Carrie and Glenn Peek of Delanson and Mark and Karen McKenna of Scotia, announce the engagement of their daughter Maria McKenna, to Justin Joyner, son of Joan and Allen Joyner of Saratoga Springs.
The future bride is a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School and Siena College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is assistant controller for BBL Mgmt. Group, Albany.
Her fiance is a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he received his bachelor’s degree in electronic media, arts and communications. He is employed by Vicarious Visions in Albany as an audio designer and he is lead vocalist and guitarist for GRAVITY.
A September 2009 wedding is planned.

John Francis Barr III and Katrina Bates VanDerzee were married August 29, 2008 at Delmar Reformed Church. Rev. Dr. David G. Corlett officiated. A reception followed at Normanside Country Club.
Matron of honor was Rebecca Kane. Bridesmaids were BethAnne Baker, Shannon Britten and Carrie Gentile. Flowergirl was Caroline Ash.
Best man was Jeb Fulle r. Ushers were Thomas DePalma, John Fidler, Jeffrey Perlee, Thomas Spain and David Versocki. Junior ushers were Samual Ash and Henry Holmes.
Ringbearer was Jack Holmes. The bride is a graduate of Ithaca College and SUNY Plattsburgh. She is a teacher at Galway Central School.
Her husband is a graduate of Hartwick College and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is director of administrative services at the NYS Thruway Authority.


Petrillose-Aabo
Wedding: Aabo and Petrillose

Christina Aabo and Matthew Petrillose were married on October 11, 2008 at their home in Charlton.
Christina is the daughter of Torben and Jean Aabo of Charlton. Matt is the son of Peter and Helena Petrillose of Burnt Hills.
Christina is a pastry chef in Albany and Matt is a family and consumer science teacher in Ravena.
Their nuptials marked the culmination of an 18 year friendship and the commencement of a lifetime union.
