The future bride is a 2004 graduate of the University at Albany, with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She is a 2006 graduate of Russell Sage College, where she received her master’s degree in counseling. She is a clinician at Northeast Parent and Child Society.
Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Siena College, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He is an investigator with the Office of Special Investigations at the NYS Dept. of Labor.

Lisa is a graduate of Niskayuna High School and Swarthmore College. She is associate executive director of Ramapo for Children, a New York City non-profit that serves children with special needs.
David is a graduate of the Lycee Francais de Los Angeles, UCLA, and the California Institute of Technology. He works for Two Sigma Investments in NYC.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Nancy Rimany of Niskayuna. The groom is the son of G. Robert and Gerri Swaney of Upper St. Clair, PA.
Matron of honor was the bride’s twin sister, Jessica Rowe. Bridesmaids were Pamela Swaney, sister of the groom, Amy Bockis, and Kira Dietz.
Best man was William Mig-nogna, friend of the groom. Ushers were Andrew Bockis, James Rowe, and David Yates. The bride graduated from Gettysburg College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in anthropology/sociology. She received her master’s degree of education in higher education administration-student affairs from Penn State. She is a student advisor at the University at Albany.
The groom graduated from Gettysburg College, where he received his bachelor’s degree in history. He earned two master degrees from the University of Maryland; one in history and one in library science-information sciences. He is employed by the NYS Archives, Albany, as an archives and records management specialist.
The couple took a wedding trip to Disney World, FL.
