Charles and Helen McGrane 60th Anniversary
Anniversary: McGrane

Charles and Helen were married in St. Anthony’s Church by Father DeFranco on August 27, 1949.
They were recently given a cruise to Alaska by their daughters, Kathleen and Maria and their husbands.
Helen graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1948. Her husband graduated from LaSalle Institute, Troy in 1940. After service with the Army during World War II, he worked at various jobs, then General Electric, Schenectady.
They moved to Pittsburgh, PA to take a job in the General Electric Apparatus Service Shop. That required some travel here and abroad.
Later, working for the Westinghouse Field Service they were able to move back to the Capital District, and presently live in Charlton.


ANTON AND BEATRICE ROHRMEIER 50th Anniversary
Anniversary: Rohrmeier

Anton and Beatrice Rohrmeier of Ballston Lake recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner with family and friends at the Edison Club, Rexford. The party was hosted by their children.
The couple were married August 1, 1959 at St. Joseph’s Church, Scotia.
The former Beatrice Reagan graduated from Albany High School and SUNY Oneonta.
She is a retired substitute teacher. She enjoys reading, volunteering and water aerobics.
Her husband is a graduate of Scotia High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as chief master sergeant in the Air National Guard as an aircraft maintenance manager. He enjoys woodworking, golf and softball.
Their children are Karla (Michael) Dendor of Ballston Spa, NY, Anton L. (Susan) Rohrmeier of Red Hook, NY and Mark Rohrmeier of Petaluma, CA. Their grandchildren are Krista Dendor of Ballston Spa and Christian and Evan Rohrmeier of Red Hook.
