Engagement: Coffenberg and Rodabaugh

John and Norma Coffenberg of Delanson announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Ann Coffenberg to , son of Dennis and Nancy Rodabaugh of Watkins Glen, NY.
The future bride is a graduate of Mohonasen High School and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Boston. She is a CVS pharmacist on Long Island.
Her fiance is a graduate of Oneonta State University. He is co-owner of A & E Builders Corp., in Long Beach, L.I.
Eric’s proposal came under sunset skies as they strolled the sands of Long Beach before the fading city skyline on this first day of spring.
A fall 2010 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Bruno and Friello

Frances and Sylvia Bruno of East Greenbush announce the engagement of their daughter Tara Bruno, to Michael Friello, son of Maria Davis of Rotterdam and Ronald and Judy Friello, also of Rotterdam.
The future bride is a graduate of Columbia High School and Hudson Valley Community College. She is a dental hygienist at Comfort Dental.
Her fiance is a graduate of Mohonasen High School. He is the owner of Premier Landscaping.
A September 2009 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Brouwer and Buckley

John and Nancy Brouwer of Clifton Park announce the engagement of their daughter, Lacey Brouwer to , son of Paul and Judy Buckley of Scotia.
The future bride is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School, SUNY Oneonta and Florida Atlantic University. She is employed by Astra Zeneca.
Her fiance is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and the University at Albany. He is employed by General Electric.
An August 2009 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Schummer and Dean

Capt. Nicholas Edward Dean and Deborah Anne Schummer have announced their engagement. Nicholas is the son of Rebecca D. Gaige of Rotterdam. Deborah is the daughter of Dr. John C. and Deborah M. Schummer of Scotia.
The future bride is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and the University at Albany, with a B.S. degree in actuarial mathematics. She is employed by F. Cappiello Dairy Products Inc.
Her fiance is a graduate of Schenectady Christian High School and Nyack College with a B.S. in business administration. He was inducted into the Nyack College Hall of Fame for basketball. He served 13 years in the U.S. Air Force and is employed by the New York Air National Guard.
An October 2010 wedding is planned.

Engagement: Monaco and Brown

Salvatore and Rosemary Monaco of Niskayuna have announced the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Meredith Lauren Monaco of Philadelphia, PA to Trevor James Brown of Ottawa, ONT, Canada, son of Raymond and Sandra Brown of Deseronto, ONT, Canada.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Niskayuna High School and Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she received her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. She received her doctor of medicine from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. She is completing her residency in Pediatrics at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. In July she will begin a three year Fellowship in Neonatology, also at St. Christopher’s.
Her fiance is a graduate of Napanee Secondary School in Napanee, ONT, Canada and Sheridan College, Oakville ONT, Canada where he received a degree in art fundamentals and classical and computer animation. He is employed as a cartoon animator and will pursue further study at the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
A June, 2009 wedding is planned.

Steven Kimura Ann Karash

Richard and Karla Karash of Boston and Gene and Susanne Kimura of Niskayuna happily announce the marriage of their children, Ann Theresa Karash and Steven Kimura, on September 27, 2008 in New London, NH. The couple were married at the home of the bride’s “Auntie Mame”, Deirdre Sheerr-Gross in a ceremony eloquently officiated by Martin Gross.
Ann is a graduate of Stanford University, Milton Academy and Shady Hill School. She is art director/principal of the 47th, a design consultancy in Boston’s South End.
Steven is a graduate of Boston’s School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University. In addition to designing an outerwear line and running a small record label, he is art director of character and wardrobe design at Harmonix Music Systems, Cambridge.
