Engagement: Bugden and Barclay

David and Terrie Barclay of Glenville, NY have announced the engagement of their son David Ireson Barclay II, to Kathleen Anne Bugden, daughter
of Patricia Bugden of Abington, MA.
Kathleen is a graduate of Abington (MA) High School. She received her BA in political science from Union College and her juris doctorate from Boston College Law School. She is currently an attorney for Melick, Porter & Shea, LLP in Boston, MA.
David is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. He received a BA in history and an MA in teaching from Union College, and an MS from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where he is the director of learning and educational technology for the Higher Colleges of Technology, Abu Dhabi Men’s College.
The couple plan to relocate to the Middle East after the wedding in December 2008.

Engagement: Bouck and Ghimire

Mercedes Bouck and Vivek Ghimire have announced their engagement. Mecedes is the daughter of Nancie Bouck and Michael Bouck, both of Niskayuna. Vivek is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bishwanath Ghimire of Virginia.
The future bride is a graduate of Niskayuna High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. She is employed at Foster and Partners in NYC.
Her fiance is a graduate of Oneonta High School and received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Drexel University. He is an architect at Handel Architects in NYC. An October 2009 wedding is planned.

Makayla Vohnoutka and Dino Tebano were united in marriage on April 18, 2008 at Christ the King Church in Guilderland. Father Paul Catena officiated. A reception followed at Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia.
The bride is the daughter of Phyllis Kaehler of Niskayuna. The groom is the son of Domenic and Maria Tebano of Rotterdam.
Matron of honor was Annalisa Schraa. Bridesmaids were Tanya Keefe, Cheryl Tebano, Cassandra Hamilton, Alexandra Tebano and Taylor Tebano. Flower girl was Tiana Tebano.
Best man was Attilio Tebano. Groomsmen were Robert Schraa, Colin Kaehler, Peter Sgueglia, Roberto Sgueglia, Attilio Tebano, Joe Mastroianni, Jeremy Pace, Massimo Tomaselli, Gaetano Colaccino and Gino Santabarbara. Ring bearers were Domenic Tebano, Andrew Schraa and Aiden Schraa.
The bride is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is employed at MVP Health Care as a marketing production coordinator in the corporate communications department.
Her husband is a graduate of The Albany Academy and Siena College with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing management. He is the president of Tebano’s Five-Star Construction Company Inc., and co-owner/operator of Super Sod Lawn and Landscapes.
Mr. and Mrs. Tebano took a honeymoon trip to the Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live in Rotterdam.

Albert and Marjorie Caprara 60th Anniversary
Anniversary: Caprara

Albert and Marjorie Caprara of Amsterdam recently celebrated thier 60th wedding anniversary and Albert’s 80th birthday, while on a family trip to Washington D.C. The couple and their family toured Washington and attended a performance of the Lion King at the Kennedy Center. A dinner party was given in their honor at the Ft. Myer Officer’s Club, Ft. Myer, VA.
Albert and Marjorie were married on January 25, 1948 at St. Michael’s Church in Amsterdam. Their wedding attendants were Dante and Sylvia Caprara.
Albert Caprara graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School. He was employed by General Electric for 31 years, retiring in 1995. Al has always had a passion for cars. At age 12 he rebuilt his first car; a Model A Ford. Albert owned and operated Al’s Body Shop in Ft. Johnson from 1962 until 2004. He continues to visit his garage each day and enjoys restoring vintage cars.
The former Marjorie Gardinier graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She attended Fulton Montgomery Community College and worked in the family business. Marjorie remains a loving wife and mother, who is totally devoted to her grandchildren. She is a master seamstress, who also enjoys cooking and gardening.
Their children are Mrs. Henry (Judith) Wurster of Plattsburgh, NY, Thomas A. Caprara of Troy, Mrs. William (Mary Beth) Johnson of Apex, NC and Mrs. Richard (Margaret A.) Bautz of Ft. Johnson.
They have six grandsons: Jared and Matthew Wurster of Washington D.C., Patrick and Daniel Johnson of Apex, NC and Richard and Robert Bautz of Ft. Johnson.
