Anniversary: Angle and Jane

Percy and Jane (Nabinger) Angle of Florida and Scotia, New York recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a family clam steam at their daughter’s house in Scotia. They were married in 1948 in the Lutheran Church in Fort Plain, NY. After working several years at the Beech-Nut Packing Co., they moved with their son, Bob, to Scotia, where their three daughters, Christina Hanna (Charlotte, NC), Judith DeLuke (Scotia, NY), and Barbara Angle (Berkeley, CA) were born. They have three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jane graduated from Hamilton High School and attended Schenectady County Community College, Maria College and Union College. She was a statistical bookkeeper at BeechNut and teacher’s assistant in Schenectady and Scotia.
Percy graduated from Mechanicville High School and Syracuse University. He was a first lieutenant with the 15th Air Force and worked in the financial department of General Electric for 37 years. They both enjoy camping, traveling, square dancing and volunteer activities.

Engagement: Anderson and Michalec

Donald and Jill Knapp, and Robert and Suandra Anderson, all residing in Ithaca, NY are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Anderson, to Jason Michalec, son of Jack and Sharen Michalec of Saratoga Springs, formerly of Niskayuna.
Stephanie is a graduate of Lansing High School and a 2005 graduate of Tompkins Cortland Community College. She is currently employed by the Johnson School at Cornell University as a transaction specialist.
Jason is a graduate of Niskayuna High School and a 2002 graduate of Cornell University. He is currently working for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, where he builds and deploys underwater recording units for marine mammals.
Jason and Stephanie were engaged last February on a plane 25,000 feet above Las Vegas. They avoided the temptation to run to the nearest chapel, and have set a date for June 27, 2009 at Celebrations in Ithaca, NY, followed by a honeymoon in Antigua.

Engagement: Kostek and Guzzetta

Daria and Edward Kostek of Schenectady announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Susan Kostek to Alexander Louis Guzzetta, son of Maria and Louis Guzzetta of Greene, NY.
The future bride is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School and a 2005 graduate of Schenectady County Community College. She is employed by the NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance.
Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Greene Central High School and the University of Rochester in 2006. He is employed by United Realty Management.
A June 2009 wedding is planned.

Wedding: Hartigan and Seber

Lauren A. Hartigan and William L. Seber were wed on October 24th at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Eleanor J. Hartigan of Schenectady and the late William Boyd Hartigan. The groom is the son of Mr. Charles E. Seber of Naples, FL., and the late Anne Seber.
The matron of honor was the mother of the bride, and the best man was the father of the groom. A reception was hosted by Mick Seber, at the Dancing Bear Lodge located in the Aska Adventure Area.
The couple reside in Blue Ridge, GA.
