The future bride is a graduate of Schenectady High School and the University at Albany, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She is employed by the NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance.
Her fiance is a graduate of Bishop Gibbons and Siena College, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He is branch manager at Citi Financial in Queensbury, NY.

Kenneth and Debra Roberts of Edinburg are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Jason David Roberts, to Lauren Kate Doherty, daughter of Thomas and Shirl Doherty of Northville. Jason is the grandson of Roland and Carol Coppola, and Marcel and Helen Roberts, all of Schenectady. Lauren is the granddaughter of Frank and MaryBet Haux of Bolton Landing and the late James and Dorothy Doherty of Corinth.
Lauren received a B.A. in American studies and anthropology at Skidmore and a master’s degree in public history from the University at Albany. She is employed at Curtin Archaeological Consulting, Inc. in Ballston Spa, and is the Town of Day historian.
Jason graduated from F.M.M.C.
with an associate’s degree in construction. He is a partner with Roberts Building and Remodeling, Inc, building custom homes at the Great Sacandaga Lake.

Erin is a graduate of Mohonasen High School and Hartwick College. She is currently employed at The Rolling Pin Bakery in East Setauket, Long Island.
Andy is a graduate of Ward Melville High School and SUNY Oneonta. He is currently employed as an audio production specialist for the Town of Brookhaven, Long Island.
The college sweethearts tied the knot in the town of Oneonta, where they met.

Robert and Donna Travis recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their wedding vows and a dinner party at Glen Sanders Mansion, attended by family and friends. The party was given by Bob and Donna Travis and family.
The couple were married April 13, 1958 at Our Lady of Assumption Church.
The former Donna Santore is a graduate of Schalmont High School. She enjoys golf, winters in Florida, shopping, reading, cooking, boating, family and grandchildren.
Her husband also graduated from Schalmont High School. He is owner of Bob’s Transmission Service. He enjoys golf, curling, hunting, being at the lake and boating, fishing and his granddaughters.
Their children are Robert Travis Jr. of Amsterdam and Rick and Kathy Travis of Clifton Park. Their grandchildren are Stacy Travis of Schenectady, Heather Travis of Schenectady and Kate Calabash of Clifton Park.
Bob will retire this year, after selling the business he owned and managed for 48 years. They plan to travel and enjoy their lake house and play a lot of golf.
