Alteri-Micalizzi
Engagement: Alteri and Micalizzi

Henry and Diane Alteri of Rotterdam are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Bernadette Alteri, to Daniel Gary Micalizzi, son of Gary and Dale Ann Micalizzi of Rotterdam.
The future bride is a graduate of Schalmont High School and Schenectady County Community College with a degree in human services. She is also a graduate of Empire State College SUNY, with a degree in humanities and human services. Angela is employed as an assistant manager at Canali’s Restaurant in Rotterdam.
Her fiance is a graduate of Schalmont High School and also is a graduate of Albany Technology School with a degree in construction management. He is a chef at Canali’s Restaurant, Rotterdam.
A summer 2008 wedding is planned.


Radden-Friedman
Engagement: Friedman and Radden

Jeffrey and Sharon Radden of Guilderland announce the engagement of their son, Daniel Radden, to Jennifer Friedman, daughter of Ellen Friedman and the late Edward Friedman of Bellmore, NY. Daniel is grandson of Leonard and Esther Sochin of Albany and Edna Radden and the late Joseph Radden of San Diego.
The future bride is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She received her master’s degree in special education from Touro College in New York. She is an elementary school teacher in New York City.
Her fiance is a graduate of Guilderland High School. He recieved his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and his law degree from Fordham Law School. He is employed with Katten Muchin Rosenman Law Firm in NYC.
A May 2009 wedding is planned.


Kawryga-Newell
Engagement: Kawryga and Newell

Tim and Kathy Newell of Ballston Lake announce the engagement of their son, Christopher Adam Newell to Amie Lynn Kawryga, daughter of John and Janice Kawryga of Syracuse. Aimee is the granddaughter of Lois Higgins; Christopher is the grandson of Dorothy Newell.
The future bride is a graduate of Henniger High School in Syracuse and SUNY Brockport, with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and health science. She is assistant director at Tutor Time, Troy.
Her fiance is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and attended SUNY Cobleskill. He is employed as a producer for Shank and Falvey Insurance, Burnt Hills, NY.
An August 2009 wedding is planned.


Battiste-Saniti
Engagement: Battiste and Saniti

David and Carole Doherty of Ballston Lake and Joseph and Judy Battiste of Rexford announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Lynn Battiste to Robert John Saniti, son of Mr. John Saniti of Columbia, SC.
The future bride is a graduate of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and the University of Rochester, where she received her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration at Wake Forest University. She is a senior consultant
at Trinity Consultants, Charlotte, NC.
Her fiance is a graduate of Airport High School and The University of South Carolina, with bachelor degrees in marketing and management. He is a commercial banker at Wachovia in Charlotte, NC.
A May 2009 wedding is planned.


Todd M. Pikor Melissa J. Poch
Wedding: Poch and Pikor

Melissa J. Poch and Todd M. Pikor were married February 29, 2008. Rev. Suzanne Loo-McCoy officiated. The ceremony and reception took place at Troon North Golf Club, Scotsdale, AZ.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Deardorff. Best man was Kevin Scholz.
The bride is a graduate of Northeastern University. She is a pharmacist at Rite Aid, Wareham, MA.
Her husband is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He is a pharmacy supervisor at CVS Pharmacy in Cape Cod.


David Badalucco Jennifer O’Donnell
Wedding: O’Donnell and Badalucco

Jennifer Lee O’Donnell and David Anthony Badalucco were married March 15, 2008 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Rotterdam. Father Joe CeBula officiated. A reception followed at Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia.
Maid of honor was Lisa Rose. Bridesmaids were Brittany Sarbo, Stacy Warner, Brandy O’Donnell, Heather DeRusso and Tracy Messerle. Flowergirl was Makayla Greenwood.
Best men were Jayson Kriss and Brian Badalucco, brother of the groom. Ushers were Ray Rudley, John O’Donnell, Paul DeMeo and Joe Messerle.
The bride is a graduate of Schalmont High School. She is a legal assistant at Upstate Collection in Niskayuna. Her husband is a graduate of Mohonasen High School. He is a a construction tech. II with Shaw in Niskayuna.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Rivieria Maya, Mexico.
