Michael and Annette DiGesare of Guilderland announce the engagement of their daughter, Marisa Elizabeth DiGesare to Christopher David DiCocco, son of Lawrence and Patricia DiCocco of Schenectady.
The future bride is a graduate of Guilderland High School. She is an administrative assistant for The DiGesare Group and a youth ministry assistant at Calvary Tabernacle, A.G.
Her fiance is a graduate of Schalmont High School and Ithaca College. He is an accountant with DiCocco & Associates.
A July 2009 wedding is planned.
Ralph and Angela Bassi of Schenectady announce the engagement of their daughter, Gina Angeline Bassi to Michael Angelo Finocchi, son of Sally and Angelo Finocchi of Amsterdam. Gina is the granddaughter of Louise DeFelice and Margaret Bassi.
The future bride is a graduate of Mohonasen High School, and the University at Albany, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in secondary education. She is a seventh and eighth-grade Spanish teacher at Christian Brothers Academy.
Her fiance is a graduate of SUNY at Cortland. He is assistant residence director at the Schenectady YMCA.

The future bride is a graduate of Johnson City High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany. She is employed as the General Manager at Best Fitness of Albany.
Her fiance is a graduate of Schenectady High School and is a HVAC technician with Adirondack Mechanical Heating, Refrigeration and Plumbing, Broadalbin, NY.
An August 2008 wedding is planned to be held in Binghamton, NY.
Inessa de Almeida and Robert Baranauskas were married May 2, 2008 in Cambridge MA.
The bride is the daughter of Odirene and Bosco de Almeida of Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil, and the groom is the son of Claudia and George Baranauskas of Scotia, NY.
Inessa received a B.S. degree in economics from the University of Fortaleza and Robert received a B.S. degree in computer science from SUNY Oswego. He is currently employed by the NYS Police in Albany, NY.
The couple reside in Niskayuna, NY.
Nicole Marie Ruotolo and Donald Joseph Wright were married February 16, 2008 at St. James Luthern Church, Gloversville, NY. Pastor David Almleaf officiated. A reception followed at Perthshire in Perth.
The bride is the daughter of Anthony Wassil of Palm Harbor, FL and Mary Kelly of Schenectady. The groom is the son of David and Phyllis Wright of Gloversville.
Matron of honor was Danielle Kennedy. Bridesmaids were Alicia Hazen, Missy Racine and Katina Chiera. Flowergirls were Olivia and Katie Cromer.
Best man was Carl Rossbach. Ushers were John Fanch, Ron Cromer and Charles Rossbach. Ringbearers were Nicholas Ruotolo and Kyle Kovacs.
Mrs. Wright is a graduate of Schenectady High School. She is an LPN at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.
Her husband is a graduate of Gloversville High School. He is a taxpayer service representative for the NYS Dept. of Taxation & Finance, Albany.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to St. Thomas. They reside in Schenectady.
Marjorie and Donald Cotugno celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently with a Mass of Thanksgiving at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, where they were married on May 24, 1958. Followed by a dinner party given by their children at the Woodlin Club.
The Cotugnos are the parents of three daughters, Mary (Kevin) Newcomb, Kathleen (Michael) Surin and Nancy Cotugno. They also have three grandchildren, Kristopher and Kariann Newcomb and Kristin Clara Surin.
Both are graduates of Mont Pleasant High School. Marge, the former Marjorie Restifo, is a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Yonkers, and Don is a graduate of Russell Sage College. He retired in 1994 after 34 years of service as a facilities manager with the General Electric Company, and Margie is a nurse in the operating room at St. Clare’s Hospital.
Margie enjoys gardening and Don enjoys Yankee baseball and singing with the Barbershop Chorus. Both enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
Harold and Antoinette Sanders of Glenville, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their wedding vows at the Church of the Immaculate Conception and a buffet luncheon at the home of their daughter and her husband, Debra and Matthew Hathaway of Burnt Hills, NY. Also hosting the party were their children Patricia and Dan Matthews of Ballston Spa and Michael and Roz Sanders of Westerly, RI. They will be celebrating with a cruise to the Mediterranean to Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Israel and Italy.
The couple were married May 31, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Scotia. The former Antoinette Padricelli graduated from Scotia-Glenville High School. She is presently employed as secretary to Dr. Nijjar in Schenectady.
Her husband was a graduate of Scotia-Glenville High School. He served with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment from 1953-1955. He was a dispatcher for Niagara Mohawk, retiring in 1992 with 42 years of service.
They also have six grandchildren, Nicholas and Steven DiCarlo of Ballston Spa, Gregory and Shawn Sanders of Westerly, RI and Katelyn and Ryan Hathaway of Burnt Hills, New York.
