Karen and Gary Parker of Ballston Lake announce the engagement their daughter, Johanna Parker to Eric Appel, son of Neil Appel of Has-
brouck Heights, NJ and Patricia Merrell of Endicott, NY.
The future bride is a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and Syracuse University. She is an actress and a model.
Her fiance is a graduate of Union Endicott High School, Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Upright Citizens Brigade. He is a senior writer at Funny or Die.com.
An October 2008 wedding is planned.


Bolton-DiNovo
Engagement: Bolton and DiNovo

Patricia A. Bolton of Schen-ectady, announces the engagement of her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Bolton to Nicholas Philip DiNovo, son of Nicholas and Donna DiNovo of Menands.
The future bride is a graduate of Mohonasen High School and SCCC, with an associate degree in early childhood. She is a nanny in Guilderland.
Her fiance is a graduate of Shaker High School and SCCC, with an associate degree in fire protection technology. He is employed by the Town of Colonie and is member of Verdoy Volunteer Fire Dept.
An August 16, 2008 wedding is planned.

water has become engaged to Nicholas Lape, son of Allen and Clare Lape of Schenectady.
A May 2009 wedding is planned.

Angela H. Mykolaitis and Joshua J. Jones were married October 6, 2007 at St. Madeleine Sophie Church, Guilderland, NY. Father Jim Belogi
officiated. A reception followed at Franklin Plaza, Troy, NY.
The bride is the daughter of Victor and Antonette Mykolaitis of Guilderland. The groom is the son of the late Brian Jones and Deborah and William Peters of Troy. Angela is the granddaughter of Angelina Serafini. Joshua is the grandson of Joan Furciniti and Donald and Nancy Jones.
Matron of honor was Suzanne Plue, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Elaine Sheridan, Lauren Brennan and Deah Burnham. Flowergirls were Destiny Peters and Alyssa Plue, nieces of the groom and bride.
Best man was Chad Peters, brother of the groom. Ushers were Christopher Maloney, Charles Reo and Kevin Behan. Ringbearer was Nicholas Plue, nephew of the bride.
Angela is a graduate of the College of Saint Rose and the University at Albany. She is a fourth-grade teacher in the Albany City School District.
Her husband is a graduate of SUNY Utica/Rome. He is employed by NY State.


Brent J. Gilbert Deborah C. Thompson
Wedding: Thompson and Gilbert

Deborah C. Thompson and Brent J. Gilbert were married August 4, 2007 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, MN. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Rodney and Carol Thompson of Rochester, MN. Parents of the groom are Dr. Harold and Ruth Gilbert of Niskayuna.
Esperanza Calderon was maid of honor and Todd Gilbert was best man. Deborah holds an MBA and is an accounts manager for Eaton Corp. in Raleigh, NC.
Her husband holds an MA in toxicology. He is a partner manager at Address Doctor, Raleigh, NC.


GEORGE AND ANGIE FOUNTAIN 50th Anniversary
Anniversary: Fountain

George and Angie Fountain of Glenville recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at The Edison Club, Rexford. The party was given by their children and spouses, Denise and Mark Lansing, Lynn and Ken Finnegan, David and Debbie Fountain, Pam and Russ DeAngelis, Susan and Jim Leupold, and Steven and Amy Fountain. They also have 13 grandchildren.
The former Angie Cuda is retired from the Schenectady City School District.
Her husband is retired after 32 years of service at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. They now both enjoy traveling and their grandchildren.
