The future bride is a graduate of Western Oregon University, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in educational leadership at the University of Colorado. She is a seventh-grade social studies teacher and the athletic director at Fox Meadows Middle School, Colorado Springs.
Her fiance is a graduate of Mohonasen High School and received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and elementary education and a master’s degree in education from SUNY Potsdam. He is an eighth grade math teacher at Mountain Vista Community School and coaches girl’s basketball at Harrison High School, Colorado Springs.

The future groom is a graduate of Voorheesville High School and RPI, with a degree in civil engineering. He is an ensign with the U.S. Navy, stationed in Little Creek, VA.

John and Ann Duerr of Prospect, KY., announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Maureen Duerr to Gregory Gordon Mullaney, son of Michael and Debby Mullaney of Niskayuna.
Katherine is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and Georgetown University, with a bachelor’s degree in government. In June 2008, she will achieve her masters of science degree in education from Northwestern University.
Gregory is a graduate of Niskayuna High School and Georgetown University, where he received his bachelor degrees in finance and accounting. He is employed by Clark Construction Group as the Western Region director of purchasing.

A reception to celebrate the union of their love was hosted by Paul and Marcia for family and friends at at the Shaker Ridge Country Club, Colonie.

Lee and Antonette Manzone of Scotia, formerly of Bayville, NJ, recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. They were married at St. Michael’s Church in NYC on January 25, 1948 and honeymooned in Hollywood, Florida.
The couple have a daughter and son-in-law, Yolanda and Fernando Robleno; grandchildren, Michael, Fernando and wife, Kristie and two great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Cayden, who all live locally.
They are also blessed with wonderful neighbors and friends.
Jerome and Marie Willard of Ballston Spa recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, with a party hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The couple were married January 25, 1958 at Rock City Falls Methodist Church.
The former Marie Barnes is a 1957 Saratoga High School graduate and graduated with an associate degree from Schenectady County Community College. She is a retired welfare examiner for Saratoga County.
Her husband attended Bal-lston Spa Schools. He is a disabled American Veteran and a retired plumber. Their children are Lorri (James) Zarro of Gansevoort, Jerome (Dorothy) Willard of Ballston Spa, James (Jennifer) Willard of Ballston Spa and the late Jo-Ann Willard Hart.
Their grandchildren are Christopher (Sara) Hart of Gansevoort, Jamie (Chip) Dunham of Valatie, NY, Joshua Hart of Ballston Spa, Brian (Marie) Zarro of Gansevoort, Matthew Zarro of Gansevoort and Riley Willard of Ballston Spa.
They also have four great-grandchildren, Arianna and Jayden Zarro of Gansevoort, C.J. Dunham of Valatie, NY and Nathanel Augustin of Fayetteville, NC.
